New layout is nice. Clean looking store. Friendly, helpful staff. Some products that are not easy to find elsewhere in town. Prices for common items are usually higher than the local competition.

The store is clean and stocked but I'd say it's stocked well because prices are higher than the competition. But you can't beat a Sobeys cake when it comes to grocery store cakes.

Prices are just way to high. 30% to 50% more in produce...15 % to 20% in dry foods.I comp at walmart costco and superstore...all have better prices

Nice store, but the prices of the groceries(especially for a family of 6 are way over the top). You can tell that the customers are the ones paying for the new renovations of the store. And the prices don't reflect a better quality of product either. Prices are too high for just mediocre product.

The gift basket/floral department at this Sobey's location is EXCELLENT! Carol and her staff are precise in getting all the pertinent information to make up the most amazing - and appreciated, gift baskets. They are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist you in all aspects of putting together the best items for your gift basket!

Have shopped at the Steinbach location for years. Prefer it to Superstore for service, but prices are WAY TOO HIGH for me to be loyal any longer. I bought a few items yesterday and paid $90!The prices are unbelievable, you need to make some changes and be loyal to your customers who want to support you. (December 2022)

Rick the guy from the butchery, the manager, is a champ, he's kind, goes the extra mile, and offers insight and knowledge. The other staff also seemed quite nice.

Came from Minnesota and store was amazing!!! Got everything we needed for our weekend stay in Steinbach, and most things were a great price (I’m surprised other reviews say it’s spendy here).
