Flooring and Home

The hardwood floors on my 3 story house where over 30 years old and needed replacing throughout. I shopped around a fair bit and found ‘Flooring And Home’ to be a notch above the rest in terms of quality and selection. At the store I dealt with Lexi McShea. She listened to what I was trying to do and led me to some beautiful hickory flooring that I had not seen before. It was perfect. The installers were professional craftsmen who took pride in their work and added some nice design touches to the installation. It really came off well, solid underfoot with a good feel, durable, precise and unusually good looking. I’ve had lots of compliments on it. It’s been a few months since the installation and nothing has shifted, come up or warped, the floor is solid. The old floor creaked everywhere and now it’s all quiet. The service I received from Lexi, the manager, the installers and even the guys in the warehouse was a pleasure and they were always fair to do business with. ’Should last me another 30 years.

Flooring and Home is a wonderful company. We purchased our flooring from them recently. From start to finish the whole experience was positive. Their staff are friendly, approachable and value customer service. Our representative took so much time with us to make sure that we were happy with the product we were choosing. We got to bring home a couple of samples to try them out in our space. That was so helpful! Anytime we had to call or come in, we were treated so well. This is definitely a company you can trust to give you the product and service you need. Thank you we will definitely return for another other flooring needs.

The gentlemen who came to install the product went above and beyond when it came prepping the space, removing our very difficult pre-existing floor and working so well with other contractors also on site. We weren't sure everything could be done on time, but these fellows worked long and hard and proved that it could not only be in time but expertly! Flooring + Home should get 10 stars! Incredible selection of flooring (we went with Wicanders Hydrocork, perfect for our basement reno). Very enjoyable experience from start to finish. You can't go wrong with a great product, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and installers who are very professional. Very happy!

We were in a tough spot - needing flooring ASAP in a supply shortage era! The staff and owner of this store were unbelievably helpful, patient, kind, and genuinely wanting to be part of the solution to a problem that was not theirs. From start to finish - incredible!!!
