5 stars ain't enough for the great place food was amazing owner and staff were so friendly. Definitely be back if we come back to Quadra island.

Not sure if it was just a one off because I have heard nothing but good things. But the eggs benedict should not be on the menu if you can't serve it with runny yolks (or serve the right meal at all). I ordered the regular benny and asked for it soft poached and it was basically a hard boiled egg and was served to me on salmon with capers. Sent it back and was returned as a the normal eggs benedict I ordered but the egg still had the capers on it telling me they just put the old eggs on the new benny. So now I have stone cold hard boiled eggs benedict. Stood in line waiting for a while to be told that thats just how they make the food and I can't get my eggs soft or medium. Nobody was interested in remaking my meal so was offered a refund. At least I got my money back from that ordeal.

In from Vancouver for a funeral service and desperately needed an intake of caffeine! Wasn’t cheap BUT WAS THE BEST MACCHIATO I HAVE EVER HAD!! Great service and great attitudes!! Thank you

Had breakfast there. Somebody brought their kids there and were using the outside patio as a playground which would've been fine if it were quiet-play. More a criticism of the parents than the cafe, but it was a busy Saturday long weekend morning and it took a while to get our order. It was filling, kept us going til late afternoon.

Outstanding food and coffee. Camped for a week in the area and came at least once a day to Aroma! Scones are the best I’ve had and the staff are so friendly. Our first trip to Quadra but won’t be our last!

I rarely, if ever, write criticisms but I am today. I came in this afternoon and for a latte and dream bar. What I received was a granola bar, a latte and a lot of attitude. I waited ten minutes for my drink and when I went to inquire about it, no one was behind the counter. Turns out the baristas had gone outside to hang out with their friends rather than making the drinks. Fine, it was quiet. However, the attitude I got for asking for the drink I paid for was not okay. When I finally opened my bag in the car, I had received the incorrect food item.This isn't the first time the staff have been snippy this trip and it makes for an unwelcoming environment. Previous years have been much better.

Pretty good breakfast sandwiches but my sausages English muffin seemed to be missing half the sausage (see photo) I'd recommend going for the bacon instead.Edit: thank you for the response and also my apologies for the harsh review. Had breakfast there last week and everything was 5 stars. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very popular place. We had breakfast on their open tree covered patio. They were very busy so there were some delays and mistakes but no biggie. Price is high but that is to be expected for an island that has to get everything boated in. Great taste for coffee/chai drinks and the food.
