Whistler Rides - bus service

Amazing experience with Whistler Rides! The owner Ven personally took care of us. We utilized them for a large group hike up at Golden Ears and everything was exceptional. The bus is very comfortable. They were on time and we were well taken care of. 5 star service! Would definitely use this company again.

The customer service for this “bus service” is non existent. The website is confusing and misleading in regards to rates and fees. The booking receipts are inaccurate and confusing. Mine showed Vancouver to Whistler even though I booked Squamish to Whistler. The buses routinely fail to show up. Nobody answers the customer service phone and the voice mail box is full. Online support is spotty at best with response time linger than 24 hrs. I have tried to use this “bus service” twice in the past year and have yet to see one of their buses. I’m out $55 because of their misleading website and lack of customer service. In the end I gave up and booked on Epic Rides which is excellent and cheaper. No hidden charge for bikes, and no ridiculous “one way fee”.

Messaged me at 11pm Vancouver time the night before my ride as they had to reschedule for reduced demand. This was 1am where I was basically had zero notice before my flight at 6am.Bit of an odd exchange with the manager to reschedule my time... luckily my flight lined up and the rescheduled bus actually worked better than the one I had booked (hence 2 stars not 1) but it definitely could have gone very differently if my flight had have been delayed by 5mins.I'll just book the direct Airport transfers from now on.

Our bus was cancelled TWICE. Extremely short notice given... MIDNIGHT the evening before my bus, and again on our return trip ONE HOUR before we were supposed to depart. We were forced to take different times without any compensation or apology. Extremely disappointing.
