Charlena worked so well with me on my vocals & songwriting. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She also provided me with online tutorials of how to use garageband. She is extremely kind & I am going to be taking my daughter to her to begin her musical journey. She made what was an anxiety provoking experience into a very calm and pleasant one & I am so grateful teachers like her exist.

Her engaging personality combined with her obvious experience benefits her students immensely. My daughter has advanced three RCM grades since the time she started!

Charlena is an exceptional music teacher for all ages and levels. She has this beautiful way of connecting with kids, tapping into their interests, and making lessons engaging and fun, even online! I even started taking lessons, proving it's never too late to pull your guitar out from under the bed and finally learn how to play it!

She uses several techniques to help me gel the vocal and ukulele skills we’re working on and is always open to taking a few steps forward and a few steps back as my skills ebb and flow.She has helped me gain a tremendous about of confidence in my own skills and I continue to feel excited to see what we can accomplish next.

I have been studying Classical guitar with Charlena since November/2022.I find the online lessons are very effective because Charlena is there teaching with patience and understanding & care.Charlena is a very intelligent & gifted teacher.she knows her music well.Charlena’s one on one style of teaching is terrific as she takes the time for me & I learn something new all the time…at each lesson.Charlena is knowledgeable, interesting & makes learning fun.I would recommend Charlena as a music teacher because she is a very musically talented and versatile person…very bright & pleasant.
