Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex

Clean floor. Outdoor free parking lot available (not convenient during raining days). The employees here are pretty nice, friendly, and helpful. Many kids and sports programs are available here, price is not bad. Credit cards accepted. Living communities and bus stops are nearby.

Great warm pool. Other rec centers pools have been much colder compared to Poirier. Good place for kids, hot tub diving boards and deep pool for more experiences swimmers.

Amazing weight room. Very impressed with the equipment and the fact there’s a separate platform with a large mirror for form check. Though the dumbbells only go to 65, it’s perfect for everyone and their fitness level. The facility is clean and even though it was “busy”, still got a solid workout with lots of variety. Great facility!

Overall, a great ice rink and awesome rainy day activity. My only complaints are that there's no locker facilities and they definetely admit too many people per session so you have to spend a lot of time dodging people. However, I actually saw this as an opportunity and even used it to hone my slalom skills!Because of having so many people on the ice, it chops up gnarly real quick so best to be out first!Support our local communities!Overall, a great ice rink and awesome rainy day activity. Poirier Sport & Leisure has the best facilities in tricities, with ice skating and lacrosse rings. The swimming pool and the hot tubs are awesome and family friendly. Not so popular with the advanced swimmers as the swimming classes always are happening and not enough space for long distance swimmers.The staffs are very welcoming and instructors specially in ice skating are very talented.There are lots of free parking spaces, on hockey nights hard to get spot thought.Next to the facility there is a track and field,great for joggers and runners.There is cafeteria on the second floor selling burgers and other fast food goodies.

My son loves to ice skate here... The people who work here are well mannered. The place is amazing!

Great time skating and Fit 360 and pilates. There is weight room and aquatic pool too.

Great newer facility nice ice pool and exercise. Meeting rooms are nice and staff are super friendly. Also the home of the Coquitlam Sport's Hall of Fame. Worth popping in just for a look around or to catch a Jr game Hockey or Lacrosse well worth the visit

It’s a good facility and we usually use their gym. The gym is small, the benches and weights are always taken, and kind of crowded most the time. I don’t mind wait for other people to finish their workouts when it comes to share the equipment. But I think the management can afford to invest more in their gym when they see such demand.

Honestly the best warm rink . Set up for games is very nice . Cafeteria is great good selection of food . So much fun last night at Express game . Beer , wine & some can mix beverages are serve at the game . Must see an Express game .
