Southland Yard Bar and Table
I never knew a place like this existed in the city before. Had breakfast Sunday morning. You cannot find a better breakfast spot in Calgary. As for dinner, the wings are exceptional. Friendliest customer service and most peaceful ambience I have experienced in Calgary. Danno is an amazing bartender

We didn't feel like driving anywhere and the reviews looked good for this pub. It's attached to the Marriott Hotel. We were greeted warmly and our server's name was Jane. She was delightful and sure contributed to our enjoying our evening. I didn't realize it was half price vino night and had ordered a beer. She apologized for not informing us of this. She took back the beer and brought the Malbec I ordered in replacement. I didn't get charged for the beer. The food was not that great. We started with the Crispy Chicken Sliders (really good). I ordered the Haddock and yam fries. The fish was cooked as it should be (a 5 for that) but the yam fries were warm. My partner ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wrap and didn't like it at all. She didn't want to eat it and our server offered to replace it. A pizza was the replacement. They have a couple of games to keep guests occupied, for example, free pool table, bocce ball, pin ball machine and of course, if looking for a sport to watch, lots of TV's. It was a nice evening, just a bit disappointing with the food.

Very grateful! The kitchen staff stayed a little after their closing time and prepared some takeout meals for us after a long day. Thank you. Will definitely eat here again.

Tequila based passionfruit cocktail was ammmmmmazing!! Food was good - nachos with gauc was delicious. Our server was attentive and always there when we needed her. Churro desert was great! Snitzel sandwich was good. Fries were good. Crab dip was seafoody but my husband enjoyed it.We had a great Friday date here! Would recommend!

The food is overpriced and mediocre at best.Depending on which server you get you may be waiting awhile.The very large bartender has the personality of a dead fish. Not friendly at all. Seems like he doesn't want to be there.I have been there a few times now and his lathargic demeaner never changes. I stood at the bar for over 5 minutes waiting to get our drinks while he chit chatted with the server that should have been taking care of us. He saw me waving but just kept talking. There are plenty of other pubs where the staff appreciate their clients and earning tips. I will not be going back

A girlfriend and I stopped here for happy hour that is from 2 to 5 PM and then 9 PM until close. The prices of the happy hour menu are so well priced we’re literally ordering one of everything to eat. The patio is so beautiful quiet and relaxing also dog friendly, So important! This will be my new favourite in the city 2022!

We went in mid-afternoon and looked around for a table. We couldn't find one that was clean but we sat down anyway. No-one greeted us coming in the door, nor was our existence noticed by anyone for about 5 minutes. We left. If I could give zero stars I would.

Southland Yard Bar and Table
We came for their grand opening and was blown away by his much this place has completely transformed since its renovations. Great place to hang out now that they have arcade games, bocce, fuseball, pool, Jenga and more. Fun vibe, playful decor and televisions all around so you can make sure to catch the game while enjoying a drink and some food.
