Ganaraska Taxi

Called ahead to get a price and they told me to change my plans for a dinner party so it works better for them to pick my family up. Apparently bar hoppers take priority over everyone else.

The new female driver with the purple hair yelled at us for smoking in her cab when we literally didn’t. Just rude and full of attitude!

Not great service. You'll be left standing when they decide they're not running. There is literally no competition in town so they can do whatever they want.

Person answering the phone was very rude and it seemed like they didnt want my business and made me feel as if i was imposing. Decided to walk home across town at 11 pm after a few drinks rather then using this service. Hopefully one day this town will have uber or a cab service that knows a thing or 2 in custumer service.

Always takes wayyy longer to arrive than they say it will, and one time they just never showed up before we had a wedding to go to. We normally avoid using them but tried again recently just to have to cancel after waiting too long. This is the only company in town and it’s incredibly frustrating to use.

RUDE WOMAN ON THE PHONE (when she did finally answer).My sister called and needed a ride to cobourg (she is from Alberta and wasn’t sure how it worked here). My sister was politely asking if they could take her or not. The woman working was so rude and just laughed at her. We hung up and called Cobourg taxi that was there in 15 minutes and were super polite and a great service!Ganaraska taxi needs to get their business together and hire someone better to answer the phones!!Will never use this service and tell other people not to. Small town, word gets around.

horrible service, very rude, never on time. i’ve never ever had any issues with Doug, he was always a great driver and is amazing to have conversations with, but the new female worker is extremely rude and even if you are just simply asking a question she has the rudest attitude towards you.

if i could give 0 stars i would, i called twice within 2 hours to make sure i could get a cab to pick me up from my work, i was off at 9:30, taxi was supposed to be there at 9:50, i was fine waiting until then, 9:50 rolls around and its still not there, thats fine they were probably a little late, 10:30 comes and still not there, at this point im shivering, im exhausted, im starving, and my phone's dead, i borrow someones phone to call my mom, she calls the cab company, not only are they closed, but the let me sit outside at night for 2 1/2 hours by myself in a sketchy neighbourhood waiting for a taxi that never showed. my mom had to wake up my baby sister at 11pm and drive 20 min to come get me. why tells me you're gonna get me at 9:50 if you're closed and wont be getting me, i could've called another company, won't make that mistake again!!!!

Doug is always 15 to 30 minutes away... enough time to grab another round before you call it a night. Thanks for getting us all home safely after a fun night out! Cheers Doug!
