We had 2 doors replaced with auto openers and a key pad, we have very low ceilings in our garage and Chad knew exactly what we needed. We couldn't be happier with our doors. I spend a lot of time in my garage and in this weather it's great not to be freezing in the garage. We had a broke garage door spring and called around for a few quotes. All the quotes were competitive but Chain O’Lakes Door Company beat the other two by $10 & $15. Chain O’Lakes was also available to come out within an hour. The other two would not have been able to show up until tomorrow. Chad the technician was great, very friendly and professional. We had both springs replaced and it took less than an hour.

Agreed on o price to repair my garage door of 500 . Cables were off and laying on the ground He repaired the spring and put on the old cables . Then told me to replace cable its another 250.00. ARE YOU JOKING .? There was bolts left loose and the door was misaligned by him . Called toe have him re adjust the door and he said now its 500 for the cable . What a joke ( he also used my ladders and one of my employees to help him install the spring .Beware of upcharges

The technician who came to repair my garage door was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to thoroughly inspect and repair the door. He also took the time to explain what was causing the problem and how he was fixing it, which I appreciated. I would definitely use this service again and would recommend it to others in need of garage door repairs.

Had a guy out for a quote. Gave me quote for a custom garage door, and then also for an opener install. When he showed up, he couldn't remember why he was there. What he was supposed to do. And then argued about his previous quote. Told me he didn't want to work with us dumb kids anymore" and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Do not use this company."

Chad come out 30 minutes afer our call to fix my garage door spring. He drove over on a Saturday after 5 and fixed my door for a very reasonable rate. Mind you I live in Grayslake and this was labor day weekend. Would use again and highly recommend.

While Chad can be very gruff at first, when it came time to work, he was very pleasant. He actually showed up 15 minutes early. It took three of us to lift this old manual wood garage door open before he worked on it. Now I'm able to open the door myself, and I'm 70. The door had not been opened for at least a year, because of all the problems. He replaced all the rollers, many of the roller brackets, and the inside sliding lock. He also adjusted the spring and lubricated everything. He worked on the door for over two hours with no complaints. I'd definately use Chad again. Cost was $300, so well worth the money.
