I cannot say enough wonderful things about this clinic. I have been a client for 8 years now, and started seeing Janet when my OCD was really not well-managed and I felt very little hope for recovery. The therapy used at CFCBT is the gold standard" for OCD treatment

Very bad. Didn't help at all. Loss of money and time

I was really disappointed that Dr. Millar didn't think it was worth the time to call us back. Trying to get help with our boys' needle phobia - they were committed, we were committed, brought us back once with the plan" to work on desensitization - that actually didn't happen - he just talked with them each for 30 min. Plan was to make a further appointment to try that plan but we never got a call back after leaving a message. Seemed motivated to help us initially...Follow-up: even more disturbing. Multiple phone calls to my cell (on a work day when I was chairing a meeting and could not answer - and I also can’t silence my phone for my work) but no message left and then a rather less than professional email - no apology or attempt to reconcile our disappointment in the service - just accusatory statements that we were given “priority treatment” that he now regrets… we never asked for any kind of priority treatment. Not sure what triage protocols would be in place for CBT but I would certainly never expect that a professional would try to make someone feel guilty that they were prioritized above anyone else."

Before I met Janet Caryk, I saw several psychologists and psychiatrists over my entire life. Unfortunately, they were unable to help with the severe, debilitating OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) that I was diagnosed with in early childhood. In some instances, when a doctor or therapist doesn't have experience treating someone with OCD, they can unintentionally make it worse. OCD is extremely complicated and complex. The disorder can look vastly different from one person to the next, and what works for one could be detrimental to another. Janet is an expert in this field and immediately identified many things I was doing wrong for decades. Things that reinforced my OCD and created a vicious cycle/downward spiral that I was unable to break free from previously. A combination of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) was the key in my case. It can get a bit worse before it gets better, but with most good change comes some challenges. Within a year, Janet had me on the right track and provided me with the tools I needed to cope with my OCD in a healthy way. I've even been able to get off of a lot of unnecessary medications that were giving me harsh side-effects. Studies show ERP can change brain chemistry by itself. If I had not met Janet when I did, I don't think I would be here today. I personally know a few other people she's been able to save as well.

Wow. I’m not even sure what to say. I spoke with Wes on Monday, he told me that he would have a therapist call me back the next day (Tuesday) regarding an appointment for my daughter.I didn’t hear anything back on Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon I decided to call back to follow up, I ended up leaving a message on their group voicemail. A few hours later Wes called me back. He spoke to me in a terribly condescending voice, asking me why on earth I would leave him a message. He told me that their office is very busy and that they have 40+ phone calls to return in a day, and that I am overstepping my welcome by following up.I was so shocked, I didn’t even know what to say. I did say that I felt I was being spoken to in an unacceptable tone. He responded with the fact that they have more than enough clients for their overly busy psychology office and that I should just find some place else. My husband was sitting next to me, the call was on my vehicle bluetooth, his eyes went big and he was shaking his head in disbelief with how I was being spoken to out of literally nowhere. I can’t speak to how the other therapists are in this group, but my advice is to steer very clear from Wes.
