Modern and well equipped hotel located in the heart of Downtown Ottawa. Excellent service throughout our stay and very pleasant staff interactions. Room was very well appointed with a beautiful view over the Ottawa skyline and river. Room had been cleaned to a high standard ahead of our arrival and sheets were crisp and white. Convenient and affordable on-site parking (underground) and lots of food and drink nearby! Overall great stay and would definitely return in the future! Thank you Ottawa Marriott!

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of downtown. Everything is accessible which saves the cost of travelling. The rooms are beautiful specially cause we got one overlooking the river. The service was okay. We had to call in multiple times to get us water but that is understandable since it was a busy weekend. Very helpful staff otherwise. They were kind enough of to give us umbrellas. The location is amazing! I will definitely recommend everyone visiting to stay here and enjoy the location and service.

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was right where we needed to be to explore Ottawa at our leisure. Very nice pool, gym and games room. Sadly we didn't get to use them because we were busy with seeing museums.I was very glad of the attendant who directed us how to park, because we would have had difficulty finding the lot otherwise.

Stayed here for 3 nights on vacation. Complimentary upgrade to corner room for elite member and lounge access. Room is clean/large a bit outdated but kept in really good shape. Lounge is below average but has a great view of the city. Parking can be confusing if you don’t follow the signs. Location is very good.

Not sure we would stay here again. Biggest complaint is that the room we had was tiny and very much needed updating. We have 2 adults and 2 teenagers and it was tough sleeping because the double beds were so small. It was tight with luggage etc in the room. Just not a comfortable room at all. Staff were friendly however. Location is downtown so not a ton right there. You can walk to the canals within 10-15 min. Parliament was close. Parking was tricky to find the garage and you had to exit the garage and then walk to the hotel. Might have been a direct connection to the hotel from the garage but so much was blocked off in the garage we could not tell where to exit.

Staff is professional and helpful. Rooms are small and not always clean. Odd issues like the towel rack being in the shower (who wants to dry off with a damp towel?). TV is what you would expect in a small town hotel. For a downtown hotel, parking is adequate, but you can't park a large SUV like an Expedition (unless you happen to be one of the first 5 larger vehicles and pay for valet parking).

Amazing hotel. The concierge lounge is amazing if you get access. Wonderful spacious rooms and a convenient location. NB: mind the height restriction for parking. Walls do not move and if your car is over the height restriction, you will have to park across the street in an open air parking lot.

The best part about this hotel is its location as it is in the downtown area of Ottawa. It is very close to many stores and restaurants and tourist areas. Unfortunately, other factors made my experience with the hotel not as great. When first arriving at this hotel, I only had around 10 minutes to quickly check in and drop my stuff off in my room and I was able to speak to someone quickly which was nice. I reserved 2 double beds in one room a couple days in advance but the hostess said my room was not ready yet and so I had to wait about 7 minutes before speaking to her again. She clearly confirmed my 2 double bed room reservation but when a staff member escorted my family to the room, the room only had 1 king size bed and so the staff member tried to phone the lobby from the room which took another 5 minutes which he was unable to do and said we should just go back down to the lobby and speak to the host ourselves, wasting our time. Once we got downstairs, there was a different hostess there and we spoke to her and explained we got the wrong room. The hostess looked into it and after a couple minutes, explained that we reserved a king size bed room and not a room with 2 double beds. This made absolute no sense to me because the first hostess said my room reservation correctly. The hostess then said there was another room on the same floor with the room I originally booked for and would change our reservation free of charge (as if she were doing us a favour). After checking the booking, it clearly showed a reservation for 2 double beds in one room. This really upset us and it wasted a lot of our time, especially when we were in a rush (which they knew). The rooms were good, containing a smart TV, free wifi, coffee machine, a safe, a small fridge and a desk. The staff bring things to us if we need it upon asking and the hotel is pet-friendly. The hotel also has a Starbucks and restaurant on the main lobby. Parking is paid per night and is extra if you go in and out more than once before 6pm (about $5-30).

Visited with a family of 4 for a soccer tournament. The 2 bed rooms are tight for that many, but we were OK. Parking underground is expensive but worth it in the city. Kids loved the pool and small arcade on 4th floor. Great location! I'm a runner, so it was nice to run by Parliament and then across to Quebec. Kids loved the walk past Parliament to the market as well.
