It was nice visiting this place. Beautiful environment and nice friendly staff. The soupwas good. Other food stuff was ok.

Ordered takeout. Rice portions that came with the meat dishes were so small, and both containers were far from full---one even less than the other. Taste of food was good. A bit disppointed with the sweet & sour chicken which had a lot of broccoli and cauliflower in it, which did not taste right with it---looks like they used the vegetables as filler to give less chicken. Chicken fried rice dish was a nice full portion and good mix of vegetables and chicken. The Manchurian chicken tasted good although a little on the spicier side, and was a good portion size. As for the service, the cashier was friendly, but the waiter squeezed past me twice while I was trying to pay suggesting that I was in his way---there was nowhere for me to go. I understand it was busy, but there was no room to stand at the front counter and he was quite rude to a paying customer. My order was ready, so it wasn't my fault that the cashier took her time to pass me my order and take payment. The restaurant needs more room near the counter for customers and staff to move around comfortably.

The food over here continues to be excellent year after year. The staff is friendly and warm. The portion of the food is very good, and enough for a family of 4. We ordered 2 soups, 2 starters and 2 main dishes, and yet took back a lot home. They also serve white rice on the side with each main dish. The crispy beef and the hot and sour soup and out of this world. The chicken wontons are loved by kids. The quantity of rice is good enough to serve 4 and more. Must try this place with family.

I am ordered a delux vegetable gravy and was served a shrimp in it. The servers were not even sorry about it. I asked them to leave it on the table while they replace and they dint agree. I am pretty sure they got back the same meal to me. Overall, dint find this professional, no reapect for anyones values. Food was very average, veggies were almost raw, big peices, dint like it.definately not a place for vegetarians, you dont know what goes in your food here.

We went here to get lunch and it was a very good experience! The food was very fresh when they brought it out to us, which was relatively fast after we ordered. The seating area is kinda small but the ambience is very nice. I will recommend the General Tao chicken (the sizzler) was definitely the highlight dish of the experience!

HONEST REVIEW: I ordered chilli chicken and asked for white meat. If you’ve ever had chilli chicken at other hakka restaurants, you will know this is pretty standard. The chilli chicken I received was not edible and tasted really bad. AFTER I placed the order and received the food, I spoke to the woman working there and she told me “the white meat version is not good”. I’m really disappointed with their lack of professionalism, transparency and honesty….I certainly would not have ordered it if someone had been honest and told me me. She offered no substitute, no refund and basically made me feel like it was my fault that it tasted bad. Please do yourself a favour and go to Fredericks or any other hakka establishment that prides their food on good service and HONESTY.

Great atmosphere, good service. Food is good if you haven't tried a lot of similar other restaurants. Otherwise, you might find it mediocre. Still but bad tasting but I think many places in Scarborough will beat this place any day.

I like their chicken lollypop & hakkah noodles.I came here from work close to Missisuaga with friends and it was a good pick.Their service is decently fast but they run busy over weekends hence make prior reservations for weekends.The ambiance is nice, smells lemon around the tables, the place is noisy cuz of families dining in with kids.They have ample of space to sit with kids and adults. I look forward to try more on their menu.Lemon chicken was promising but the honey was a little extra so it got sweet however it tasted nice and decentThey also have good parking space so no rush on that area

Year 2000 lived close to airport and derry road used to frequent a hakka joint there later i was at mavis n derry started going to EDDIES, i rate eddies as one of the best hakka joints. I now live near derry n tremaine in Milton. Unfortunately not a single hakka joint worth the mention here in Milton. I usually drive to eddies n pik up the food but then was too tired so ordered through uber eats called eddies before that to chk other than chilli chicken n manchurian wat else i cud try the lady there said try the house special bombay chicken, it was delicious, once a month i need my eddies doze of hakka. Keep it up and hope u start a joint here at milton. Thank u #chefdindigal

I recently had a terrible experience at Eddie's Wok N Roll restaurant on New Year's Eve. My family and I, a total of six people, were disappointed from the moment we sat down. To begin with, we found hair in our food twice (different meals). We asked for a manager, but none ever came to speak with us. The staff simply apologized and went on with their duties. To make matters worse, when we received the bill, there was a $20 tip included despite the subpar service and unappetizing food. It was clear to me that this restaurant has serious issues with hygiene in the kitchen, as I was disgusted to find a long hair in my mouth. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this establishment and would not recommend it to anyone. I wish there would be a option for zero star.
