I like the produce and selection on location but had a strange/rude interaction with an employee today due to which I will not go back to this place. At the check out, I asked for a bag for my purchases and the employee on the second cash counter says to me, out of the blue, “this looks like a bag shop to you?”. Though I shrugged his comment off as it could be a joke but that’s not an acceptable way to talk to customers, specially to someone who you don’t know at all. I don’t think I’ll be going in again, the freshness of the produce isn’t enough reason to tolerate such rudeness.

Always a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, but not everything is locally grown - despite the slightly higher than grocery store prices. Fruit, a variety of locally grown and imported vegetables, baked goods and the ever popular fresh corn is readily available from mid to late summer. Been a staple in Durham region for decades!

I love this place. Ever year my hubby and I look forward to its opening. I will freeze my squash and over the winter months I will have many dishes of squash and split pea soup with coconut milk. We also purchase many other veggies. I’ve also made different zucchini dishes, eaten lots of cauliflower and brussel sprouts. This year I’m making sure that everything we buy gets eaten, and that nothing spoils. Keep the goodies coming Stroud Farm.

Always love this rime of year to go to strouds and get fresh local produce. Pricing needs to be kept in mind because getting a little to steep in certain instances.

Great open store dedicated to selling fresh fruits and vegetables. Love their apples which are so fresh. Famous for their different types of squash and fresh corn. They close for the winter. and reopen in spring

Great local products, sourced all from local produce with the exception of bananas that they bring in for convenience.Staff were super helpful, all of their products were well priced and when we purchased them in bulk we got even better details. If you don't have room in your backyard to grow a vineyard like this; shroud farms might be the answer!
