Amazingly helpful staff!! Mountain Mechanical was extremely flexible and accommodating to my circumstances which saved a TON of money and time on my end. They really went above and beyond to deliver customer service. Thank you! :)

I went to get an out of province inspection done. The ladies were friendly on the phone and when I got there. I was scheduled for a 9am appointment but the mechanic wasn’t found until about 9:20. The lady at the counter talked to me about an hour later and said that the tiny on my drivers side windows would fail the vehicle because they were too dark. She said they could remove it and it would take about a half an hour. So after being there for just about 2 hours to the minute I got the bill. It cost $96 to remove to windows of tint!! Absolutely ridiculous!! I know a mechanic’s hourly rate is around $120 but I wouldn’t think for tint. The lady said he wanted to make sure it was all clean and tidy. I didn’t need tidy, I just needed a pass. If I was told when she said it would be about a half hour and cost $96 I would have declined and did it myself!! I will never recommend this business or go back.

Called while we were on a roadtrip with a needed turbo repair for our diesel truck. They squeezed us in, worked on the truck in the heat on the side of the road (because we had our RV attached and couldn't unhook/get into a bay)...climbing under the hood and lying on the road under the truck. All fixed, very friendly, best service we could have gotten! Thanks so much for getting us back on the road! Couldn't recommend a place more!

Andrew and his staff don’t just service vehicles, the service the community and anyone in need of help on their travels. I had a water pump failure late last night and found their shop on Google search so parked on their doorstep so ta speak. Woke up at 630 and Andrew is open for business even though the sign says 8 am. He not just made room for me. But also okayed it with his customers who were booked in. As well. The only part I needed was in Cranbrook. No problem he says. Here’s my pickup. Would you mind driving to get it as the courier company was still in bed I guess. So I jump in go get MY part. When I returned his Tech was waiting to put the new pump in. Amazing young ladies at the front made sure I was fed and coffed while they got my old 379 Petercar roaring to life again. Amazing service. Boys. These folks work on everything and do it top shelf. I read 2 bad reviews before I stopped there. Those 2 are on glue. These folks are earth angels. The friendly techs all the way to the guy helping a elder lady with a strange noise in her car. Awesome awesome awesome.

Brought our Jetta in for clutch work. Great shop, the owner Andrew is friendly and helpful. Work was done quick (in less than a day) and the car works beautifully.

Complete crooks. Took my truck in for an out of province inspection. Was told it failed because my drum brakes were seized on and couldn't continue the inspection without risking damaging the rear axle to remove them. Was quoted over $3,000 dollars for a brake job on my truck. Went out and purchased new rotors, pads, drums, shoes and hardware for $600 and did the job myself in a few hours as I used to do automotive services. The alleged seized drums" came off with next to no effort whatsoever. Clearly their mechanic never even attempted to remove them. Stay far away from this business if you don't want to to get ripped off."

I was blown away by the efficient and creative service here. These guys fixed a strange electrical problem in my work truck, and had it site ready in under two hours. The staff were funny and friendly, and the service was professional and affordable.

I must say that I have never been treated better than these folks at Mountain Mechanical. My wife and I (of 45 years) were returning from Alberta after purchasing a 5th wheel RV. and my wheel bearing on the right front wheel let go taking out my entire braking system. When I called them for help, they pretty much dropped what they were doing and shoe horned my vehicle into their shop with a promise to complete the repair that day even if it meant the mechanics (who volunteered) had to work late. They completed a rebuild of my brakes and bearings to the complete front end by 5:00 PM. I had been told by numerous other mechanics before i found these guys that I should be prepared to wait a minimum of a week for them to even get started. My thanks to the front end staff, mechanics and Dan an owner who drove for 1 1/2 hrs. to pick up a missing part for us. You guys are the greatest!! Also Dan's Dad who lent us his vehicle so that my wife and i could go back to town and buy some lunch while we waited.
