Dogwood rescue is an amazing place to get your dog!! I got a sweet and beautiful sporting dog from there!

If I could give them less than 1 star I would.We adopted a dog through them. They obviously did not vet the dog at all and was brought to us with serious health issues that would have been terminal. The dog also was not spayed, but they had informed us that she had been.Over the last year that we have had her, they have not reached out to us to offer any kind of support. They did not help us in any capacity.Our dog is a sweetheart, but if she did not end up in our home, where we were able to give her appropriate veterinary care as well as work with her behavioural quirks she would have been put down.We are still undergoing treatments for her health issues, and we might for the rest of her life.If they really cared for the welfare of the dogs that they bring in, they would not have acted so ignorant and neglectful.Shame on them.
