Having Kate as our photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding. She was upbeat, professional and courteous throughout our day, and shared in our excitement. She took special care to be discrete in the church. We spent the day with Kate and felt like she was a dear friend sharing the day with us. She created the perfect mix of classic, modern, fun, and touching photos for us, and looking through these pictures lets us relive our beautiful day. Kate has photographed so many special moments for our family. She captured our wedding, my dance portraits and headshots, our family portraits, and she was the natural choice to photograph our son's cake smash this year! She is so great with children and knew just how to get Raleigh smiling and laughing. The photos truly captured his personality and we couldn't be happier. We are so excited to take our new family portrait photos with her the fall. Kate is always a joy to work with and her photography is vibrant, creative and beautiful. My husband and I had the pleasure of having Kate do our wedding photography, and then the pictures of our new baby! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! Kate is a professional but has a way of keeping the atmosphere fun and light hearted! We just wanted to take some time to write about the fantastic experience we had with Kate. From the first consultation, we knew we wanted to go with her. She was very fun and personable while maintaining a casual but professional demeanor. She made everyone feel comfortable when doing pictures on our wedding day and was goofy/funny when shooting, but also kept us on schedule! Her skill with a camera is unparalleled, as you can see from pictures on her website. She captured so many great shots we will have forever to remind us of our big day. She also offers a coffee table book which we highly recommend. She will ask you for your top 5 photos you want in the book and then she will put together an album with these and other photos from your wedding. The end result is beautiful and it is all glossy paper which gives it a very nice look/feel. Kate did a wonderful job and we can’t thank her enough! Thanks Kate!

From the moment I began looking for a photographer for my wedding, I knew that Kate was the person I wanted. Kate was a fantastic photographer all around! We used her for both engagement and wedding photos, and are so pleased with both sets. The photos came out perfectly, and we loved having her at our wedding - she was fun, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable. I loved her attention to detail and all her helpful hints - everything from helping the groomsmen with their boutonnieres to giving the girls suggestions on how to hold our flowers. Kate is an amazing photographer who captured many special moments at our wedding. This was the first time I have worked with a professional photographer, but I was thoroughly impressed. Kate did an engagement shoot for us, and it went very well. There was open communication before the actual shoot, she showed up on time, and right away made my fiance and myself feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We had an event coming up only a couple days after the photo session where we wanted to display some of the pictures, and Kate delivered all of them within the next day. The quality of her work was excellent despite such a short turnaround time. I would highly recommend her, and would definitely use her services again!

Kate was so helpful from the first email to the end of the wedding day. We really wanted candid, natural looking pictures and Kate delivered far beyond our expectations.More than beautiful photos Kate was also just wonderful to work with. She helped us far more than I had expected our photographer to, I guess when you go to a lot of weddings you learn what works and what doesn't.To recommend Kate is, in my opinion, not strong enough. If you want natural, classic and beautiful wedding photos you want Kate Hayter; simple as that.
