Enclosure Campground

My husband and I spent July 3 to 10th at the campground. We were visiting from Ontario and loved the area and the campground. The sits are large and treed - the washrooms always clean and the staff amazing. We were even treated to live music Sat evening. Highly recommend this campground !!

Our first time camping there but not our last beautiful campground ,peaceful and relaxing looking forward to going back next year.

Incredibly friendly staff, very private clean sites, lots of large beautiful trees. At an absolute bargain of a price, we feel right at home. Definitely planning to come back for longer next time. The buy 3 get one free is a massive bonus too

One of the last good campgrounds left in New Brunswick. Lots are all wooded with good privacy between. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and mostly leave the campers be. They are quick to address concerns and even helped us out with questions we had about our camper, as this was the first year we have owned it. Even though the bathrooms are dated, they are cleaned daily and the Owners have even been spotted doing the cleaning. I would recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a private, wooded getaway!

Hey there EC and the most recent reviewer Mary...I gotta say, it is disheartening reading reviews that have nothing positive to say about an establishment that has worked phenomenally hard to stay in business for decades! The Enclosure and its family...particularly the daughters (esp. Tracey) who have been through an avalanche of obstacles in the last 5 years (both parents passing-the original owners) have done an exceptional job at keeping the business going while adding and updating so much that the one-off camper does not see! Anything less that a 4-star review in my mind for this place-where I have been going for nearly 25 years- is one of ignorance as it does not see the heart and soul of that land and that family!Thank you,Maude

Despite how the camp looks on the map, it doesn't have access to the water. You can get to the river down the road from the camp which is a small pebbly beach. On the other side, across the road, is a bible camp which does not allow you to access the river on the other side. We were going to walk down the road beside it but were warned there was a family of bears. The campsites are treed but not really private and our site had bits of litter all over it as it hadn't been cleaned since the last campers. The bathrooms are not updated or very clean and the showers were so unappealing we did not use them. One was dark and the light in it seemed to have been burned out for sometime. There is a restaurant there but it was closed with no hours posted. The only wifi in the park was right next to it.

We didn’t book ahead and they managed to find us a spot to pitch our tent, then brought out a picnic table for us later on. Nice staff and friendly.They charge per tent, so we ended up paying an extra 20 for a second tent which ran the price up to one of the highest prices we’ve paid in Atlantic Canada.The facilities are a bit of a walk depending on where you are camped, so plan around that. They are clean.

My favourite New Brunswick campground. The ancient trees, the beautiful shore, clean bathrooms and sites!! We absolutely love it here- and the staff are all so sweet.Large cook shelters with water and a wood stove!!! AWESOME!! Don’t forget all the different mushrooms growing all through the woods- fresh chanterelles for breakfast?! Yes please!!! Also- check out the old graveyard and church along the shore- super cool!!Maritime hospitality at its finest! Thank you, Tracey and staff ❤️

absolutely perfect spot and the campground is kept amazingly nice. totally recommend this place
