The girls are absolutely amazing, friendly. I love the salon and the store. The sisters Jodie and Marie are very knowledgeable and helpful in finding or creating that perfect gift or decor for that special occasion in your life and by the way the clothes are pretty awesome as well.

This place is a local treasure! Maria and Jody are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating hosts to an amazing salon and shop. Their fashion shop has some fabulous clothing and accessories, including something for every budget. They make superb gift baskets, too. It’s a heartwarming experience every time I go. A dream store in every way.

Words cannot even express how happy I am with my experience at Cavalier. My stylist today was Chloe.I called yesterday, and was fit in for today. Nervous about trying a new salon, the girls made me feel very comfortable and reassuring throughout the whole process. For the first time in my life, I have the BEST colour and cut , that I have ever gotten. Chloe has a great eye and is very educated on the best products and colours to use for my exact hair type. From the beginning to the end, she was great.I can't wait to go back for my next appointment.Don't forget, when you are getting your hair done... You get what you pay for.. although it was a tad bit expensive today, the amount of time spent with me and what I wanted as a end result were well worth it! Can't say enough great things about the whole experience

I love it. I have been getting my hair coloured and cut for years now. The owners and staff are so awsome they help with all my hair problems and you can buy clothes there and do crafts and also have a consignment now. Thsnks everyone see you sonn again.

I bring my mother in for her highlights and styling and it is always such a welcoming experience. Love how fast staff gets back to you with an appointment. The girls make our day.

I have been going to Cavalier for more than 20 years. Why? Because of consistent, professional, friendly service. They stay on top of all trends, they make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Plus they have many amazing gifts, knick knacks and women's fashions in their store. If you're looking for a new barber or stylist, give them a call. Plus, the company founder is a former World Hair Dresser Champion (yes, that's a thing).

The first time I tried this place my hair cut was really crooked. I don't know how the hairdresser thought this was a good cut. I had not been there in a few years but recently I was desperate to get my hair coloured so I booked an appointment there. They were the only ones available (now I think I know why). I got the same hairdresser and once again she did a very poor job on my hair. The colour came out in big chunks and was so uneven. I went back in immediately after leaving because of what a mess it was. The hairdresser had the nerve to tell me it's the way I part my hair! I literally left there less than 5 minutes ago and she had nothing but excuses. She combed my hair in a number of different ways just to make it look like she did a good job. When I pointed out the big chunks in some spots and a few strands in others she finally saw what a disaster it was and the owner was also watching. She instructed the hairdresser to recolour the patchy parts to my natural colour to minimize the big chunks. Less than 2 weeks later, all the colour was gone. It actually even turned blue. I'm not sure if those parts were the original ones she coloured or if it's the ones that she had to recolour to my natural colour but my hair looks like a kindergartener painted it and the cut is so bad that it looks like I did it myself while blindfolded. I wasted $200 of my very hard-earned money!While the owner is accommodating and the other parts of the store are nice, this particular hairdresser is terrible and really should find another profession. If you have no other choice but to go there or have the time to wait for your hair to grow out, at least ask for the younger of the two hairdressers and cross your fingers that she hasn't been trained by the older one.Google needs to change their rating system so that we can give zero or negative stars, because this place for hairdressing is at best a zero, at worst a -5.

Excellent personalized service and attention to detail. I have very curly hair and have always had a challenge getting a good cut that can be maintained and look professional. For that reason, I have had very long hair that can be tied back, for many years. I needed a change.After a few consultations, I decided to try this salon. Best cut and color in my life. I was listened to and each item of what I had in my vision was discussed for how it might or might not work, and what might be a good choice, substitution or alternative. Other clients in the room encouraged me privately to trust. I did, with very very good results.It has now been 8 weeks and I am ready to go back again, but the overall cut and style is still attractive, manageable and professional even at this time.

Today I had an appointment at another salon (was to be my first visit) and my appointment got cancelled, they say things happen for a reason and I believe it! Cavalier and Nada, saved the day! They fit me in for a hair rescue, believe me I thought my hair was a goner!(Tried stripping the colour myself and ended up like a tiger, white, orange and black!) Nada was so calm and reassuring! My hair is now even better than I had expected, and Nada is so modest about her abilities!! I will be going back to her for sure! Thank you Nada! You have revived my faith in salons! What a great experience too, Jodie (manager I believe) and Lucy (Aesthetician) were so kind and helpful, you have to go there even if you don’t need a haircut, so much more than a salon...go!!!
