Exeter Corn Exchange

Went to see All or Nothing experience. It was fantastic. Small faces music and their story which was followed by 60's music covering various artists. The lead singer was excellent as were the rest of the band and accompanying cast.

My first visit. Nice little venue. Toilets and bar inside. Easy to get in. Saw Buffy:revamped which was great! Free parking in Mary arches after 6 on a Thursday night just opposite. Simples.

Great venue, went to see Dreamboys!!Bar was reasonably priced!

We went to a Comedy Night here. Really good night out! Would highly recommend! The location is a short walk from all the bars and restaurants so can either go before or after, or both.

The staff are great and the bar offers a reasonably good choice, but the space has to do too many different jobs and so ends up doing none of them very well. The council should have invested in purpose built performance spaces to attract large acts a long time ago, but their lack of imagination and ambition has left the people of Exeter with an adult school hall filled with bleachers and conference seats. Please O2 Academy, save us!

The Exeter Corn Exchange is an unassuming venue from the outside, with steps leading up off a side road with graffiti and fly posters.Greeted inside by a person with a bar code scanner, we got in very quickly and ascended. Once upstairs, you arrive at a large lobby wirh full length windows at one end and a large bar at the other.Unfortunately the view is over a car park with more fly tipping than parked cars, and not much else, but the bar was well stocked, the queue mover very quickly and the staff were friendly and fast. The decor is a bit tired and it's just one big space with no where to sit, but it's OK, probably good for music gigs.The auditorium has an attractive undulating wooden ceiling which made the room feel impressive and well designed.We took to our seats. Unfortunately they were stuck in a row to each other, making it a very tight squeeze, and forcing constant arm contact with the person next to me. I found this quite unpleasant. Given there was much more room at the back, I felt the seats could have been spaced out better. Fortunately the seat padding was comfortable.The show (Simon Amstell) was fantastic, the sound and lighting were perfect and we had a great time.There was a member of staff waiting T the door on our way out, who took glasses.There were plenty of clean and well stocked toilets.I'll be keeping an eye out for more gigs here in the future.

Incredible evening with Francis rossi. Great acoustics for the music, well stocked bar, only advice if possible for future maybe a bit more spacing between chairs was quite uncomfortable towards the end being 6ft,1

Great comedy night. Staff friendly. Good bar, though not many local drinks for choice, which is a shame.

The venue was okay, seating was way too close together with literally no elbow room. Staff were friendly and location easy to find.We went to see Paul Young, he was awful, no voice or personality to speak of and we left at the interval.

Great venue, we held a large Buddhist meeting here and the venue was perfect.The staff were super helpful and they accommodated our requirements very well.Plenty of space, great sound system.Really great day!
