QSI Windows & Doors

Now part of Nordik windows and beyond doubt the worst company I have had to deal with. Poor quality windows, poor installation, poor customer service, failed appointments, since the time I signed on the dotted line. Nearly 9 months since orginal install and still not completed. Asked several times to speak to management and never received a call back. Absolutely regret going with this company, read the negative reviews they are real!!!

Will never use again and not recommend anyone to this so called professional window placeWe had our consultation he was over an hour late.Measured all the windows twice when they finally did show almost 2 months later they didn't have one window. It wasn't out on contract after measuring twice.Doung my son's window they broke his Gumball machine.Waiting for reimbursement.They showed up over a month and a half and out in last window.There is no communication between office and installers.Guy asked for money and I didn't have and he stood there till called boyfriend. So tell me if we weren't home was he gonna wait all day. When contacted boyfriend they had decided we would mail a cheque.This company is one I would never ever recommend and wish dealt with someone else in the end

We had a dozen windows installed February 2020 by QSI. Since then their customer service has been terrible. No follow up. We've got windows that require servicing, and we're left on our own.I would not recommend them. Move on

Just had my upstairs windows replaced. My experience with QSI has been wonderful right from when I first called them. I had a hard time getting anyone to come to Dunnville but they promptly came out and I had a very professional presentation and a quote right then. I was told it would be about 8 weeks for the install and it was right on. The installers were polite and they did a meticulous job and left my house spotless. Highly recommended.

OK but not great and some frustrations. Warranty is great but work and communication were careless at times. Service had to come back several times mainly since the glass itself had markings or defects and to fix sloppy caulking. At least those people were friendly and were able to fix over time problem areas. At install time no tarps or covers were used and sharp pieces of metal from cutting edging were all over my property. I'm glad I found them before my kids did, there were over 20 sharp metal triangle shaped pieces. Also plastic cut off tips from caulking were all over my property as well. Inside window trim was bare wood, not even factory primed and had to paint a couple of coats and looks not so smooth and professional. No options of trim style/shape given was told just one that they have with them. Caulking outside was sloppy and had to call service to fill in gaps. Caulking inside on some windows was uneven and looks horrible in some places. To replace one one glass that had markings was told 2 weeks to replace then waited over 2 months after numerous phone calls and long holds, service said would call back and never did. Said that it was delays due to covid but then found out that order request was not communicated with service dept at all until a month and a half later after calling them every few days.

Their service has completely went downhill since QSI was bought out. They refuse to stand by their products. Need their storm door handle replaced. They refuse to stand by the products that they use. Not only will they not cover it under warranty - they flat out refuse to assist or fix their products even as a paying customer. I still have thousands of dollars of windows to replace and I WILL NEVER RETURN TO QSI. I pity any one that turns to this company. They don't care about their products or customers. Bottom of the barrel company. Please go elsewhere.

I went with QSI after a friend recommended them even though they were at the high end of the price estimates. Long story short, install was delayed and they never contacted me . And the premium" sealants they tell you you're getting when they quote you well....look at the photos. Whenever I call the office I get a answering machine half the time

QSI isn't the same since they were acquired by Nordik.Service after the sale is absolutely lacking. Had problems with my awning and patio door.It took over a week and had to complain just to get the service department to call me back and book appointment. Tech didn't show up for first appointment - I had to alter my work schedule to accommodate the Tech two times, once for the missed appointment then for the appointment he actually showed up.Part ordered for door and QSI had to contact awning manufacturer for awning issue. Over eight weeks later, still haven't heard back from QSI. Called Service Department and they blamed it on everyone else - part on order and awning manufacturer hasn't called them. Do they not follow up on anything???I don't know about quality of work, customer experience or products post Nordik acquisition, but based on my latest experience, I would not recommend QSI!UPDATE - Awning issue still not resolved. They did not have original invoice, so I sent a copy with warranty details. Nearly a year down the road, excuse after excuse...Emails to service coordinator went to spam"

We had QSI windows installed many years ago with a lifetime warranty. Apparently that is now void with new owners. Don't answer the phone, won't return calls. Will never use this company in the future, certainly not the same QSI.

After the installation of over 7000$ for three new doors in January 2020, I realized that a gap was left between the frame and the fascia . I contacted QSI to have the problem resolved and the woman told me they were shut down for COVID-19 but as soon as they start working again I will be a priority. After opening I contacted the service department leaving numerous messages. It has taken them 3 weeks to get back to me and now they are unable to work around my schedule to fix the problem they created 6 months ago. Also the woman told me they are too busy because they are merging three companies. BUYERS BEWARE. Nordik Windows/Qsi windows and doors happy to take your money not willing to fix they’re own problems!
