if there were zero stars i would have entered it. Dispatch and Customer Service need to communicate better. Customer Service says it will delivery, Dispatch says it can't. Unfortunately the delivery did not happen as promised and Marley and Ruth could argued more than they were accountable. Vitran needs to take a good look and train employees properly on shipping arrivals.

I use to send my shipment of few skids of goods from Vancouver to Toronto many years with vitran.Aparently I did not know many other companies so stuck with these guys that long. They never respect me as a customer I would say with responsibility they were racist.I use to go to shipping office and tried to talk to a supervise but most of the time he acted like not hearing me and some times he treated me like garbage.Then I had to go up stairs to get a quote and they overly charge me many times. My last shipment they quote me 1200.00 dollars for 2 skids and CSA transportation only charge 467 dollars.One more thing have to add their regular service takes almost 12 days to go to Toronto and MAXX servise take 6 days. CSA transportation only four days with regular servise and don't have to wait one hour to drop off the skids. Their customer service is so lame and arrogant never call you back but quick to blame usPlease go to any other transport company in CANADA but VitranThank youGihan FernandoACS Delivery / Surrey BC

terrible service, backcharge for the services that weren't ordered and without any proof. Also more of a broker, as they hire smaller companies and don't manage anything.

Terrible online tracking and terrible customer service. Their tracking websites shows estimated delivery dates that are completely made up (4 business days later and still no delivery). When calling in to speak with staff they have a condescending tone want to argue the semantics of what estimate" means. Seemed more interested in arguing than resolving a customer sat issue."

Hi My review is that I would fire the bloody lot of the employees and start again fro scratch.I have used them for 30 years and their service was always slow but reasonable price but it has gone from bad to worst.My shipper died with cancer last year and he used to ask for the best p[rice and then give them a cheque when they picked the goods up for 30 years.With the passing of Andy my grandson took over and they picked up a shipment for Montreal without asking for a check and we never heard back so we assumed all ok.A month later my customer texted me as I was in Mexico on hols and asked if we had shipped which we always did for 30 years .On enquiry I now find they had put on hold the shipment but i found out they did phone for payment and my. Business asked for a invoice so we could pay it. We never got it.2 week later my customer asked again where is my goods. and they Vitrans Said they had received payment and had delivered it and on checking their website it showed delivery so another 2weeks went passed and my customer asked why was it still not delivered. So again we had to follow up and it was still in their warehouse. Now about 6 weeks from us shipping it.In all 34 year of business I have never experienced this kind of incompetence ever.The thing Ithat pissed me off more than anything it's that they. Classed us as a credit risk for $180 And we have 5. Star credit rating but you will not find it on the internet as we do not have lines of credit and do not owe any one and we could possibly buy Vitrans out right. But will not as they have proved worthless.We will not use them any more.They have not contacted me to apologize.

As a long haul truck driver I deliver and pickup there twice a week. Always greeted with a smile and how's your day going. Always willing to give you a hand if needed.

Costco delivery promised for today via Vitran between 9-12, it’s now 2pm, called Vitran customer service three times. Agent named Silvia will not support and being very rude!!! It seemed like the company only has one agent, Silvia even hung up on me!

Very unhelpful customer service. The RUSHED shipment apparently had been delivered but never arrived. After multiple calls they finally let me know 'delivered' just meant it was on the Island and may arrive in 2-5 days. Customer Service was unwilling to provide any assistance in tracking their truck's location. We will not be using them again. Their competitive shipping rates are not worth the hassle of dealing with their customer service if you need any information on your shipment.

Not only did they charge my Credit card twice (which had it flagged as fraudulent and frozen during the Christmas season), they delivered a day late and then added a supersize tailgate charge a week after it was delivered. Poor show guys. You could have had a ton of business from me. Two thumbs down. The forwarding company they used on the last leg here on the Island were excellent however!
