Dear Arts and Leisure Tours,I cannot thank you enough for putting together this trip of a lifetime for my sons and I. It was nothing short of magnificent. The stay at Portobay Libertade was perfect, centrally located, near all the shops, restaurants, cafes. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel itself was beautiful. The staff was so accommodating and personable. The tours that you had put together for us of Lisbon, Sintra and Caiscas were so well done. It allowed us to immerse ourselves in the culture and learn so much of the history of Portugal.This trip was a celebration for my 50th birthday, and I cannot think of anything I would’ve done different. Everything was seamless, well planned; it all came together perfectly. From the accommodations, to our excursions, to the warmth of the Portuguese people, to the culture, to the incredible food!Thank you for a beautiful experience. We recently experienced an Arts and Leisure tour through Italy and Croatia. Unfortunately, we would recommend you find another tour operator to put your trip together.The biggest issue was their price was definitely over reasonable limits, in our opinion. We kept a record of all prices from hotels and transfers provided by A & L, and compared it to those same services/prices from the hotels themselves and tour operators offering equivalent services. It seemed the actual prices were lower by over 33%.Now, if you have money to give away, that amount may not seem high, but for us it seems extreme.As well, they pride themselves on amazing service. Well, we often experienced late drivers, no water in the vans, no help with our luggage, and a lack of friendly drivers. When this was conveyed to A & L they often changed the story or had excuses which we knew to be incorrect.Their selection of quality hotels/resorts was without fault. That is why we give them 2 stars.We travel frequently and have often used tour companies such as this. There are many tour operators out there which can offer you a more satisfying experience, and at a more reasonable price. Try another rather than A & L.

As a travel professional, you look for service in the product providers in the travel industry, as sometimes we as travel agents get frustrated by the lack of service.I can say that Arts and Leisure Tours are true professionals, especially Melanie and Lucy. They go above and beyond their job description to get the information you need.Their attention to detail is impeccable. My family and I recently returned from our European vacation. Our travel agent assured us that the supplier that they work with is one of the best in North America. We can truly say that this was the best trip we’ve ever had!Everything was taken care of in every single aspect of our trip. Our tour guides were amazing, transfers right on time, and hotel selection was fantastic.On arrival, our flight was a few hours delayed. We immediately called the emergency number and A&L rearranged our pick up time right away and our driver was there for us when we arrived.Italy and Greece were beyond our expectations but we truly need to thank our travel agent and A&L for providing this amazing service.
