Nakajima Sensei, the Principal, also teaches and is very good at explaining the nuances of Japanese and understands where non-native speakers will run into trouble. He is very good at taking my questions and digging into them to help me understand whatever I'm challenged with at the moment. He also speaks me to about his classes for younger kids (including their kindergarten) and it is obvious that he puts at lot of care into making the school work for his students and also his staff. I've met teens who visit from as far as White Rock to participate in some English language support work because of the atmosphere, I think. Everybody is friendly and thinking about how to move forward. With COVID we've moved online via Zoom and that means for can study from anywhere even if you can't get to Coquitlam. I'd recommend connecting with the school if you are looking for online lessons, and if you are in Coquitlam, once COVID is done, the in person classes are good. I get the conversational practice I need along with the textbook progress in grammar, etc at the same time. のり先生: ありがとうございます!
