Nice to be greeted before an early morning flight with a place you know the food will be of good quality and served quickly. Great spot for people watching as well!!!The BAGEL & LOX was quite filling but I might suggest you ask for an extra schmeer of cream cheese.Also.....if you have a sensitive stomach this MAY repeat on you during your flight.....Undoubtedly airport prices but you will pay almost the same for packaged stuff at the fast food kiosks near your departure gate.

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. The batter was thick and the fries were soggy and had a weird taste to it… re used oil ?Not worth the $28 !

This is a good place to grab a meal before a flight. We has time to kill so tje slow service was perfect.The flatbreads were great and the hummus was pretty good too.

Had the burger at $22. Decent with a soft bun but underseasoned and accompanied with what I'm pretty sure we're frozen fries.Wish I could give 3.5: 3 for food but 4 for being in an airport. Feeling generous so going with 4.

Easy, fuss free dining at the airport. I mean for an airport restaurant, they do a good job. Pretty standard menu with staples catering all food choices. Tried their fettuccine Alfredo and it was decent. They also have grab and go bar with cold sandwiches and yogurt parfaits for those in a rush.

Food took 40 minutes to arrive after ordering. Really frustrating to see people who were seated after us get served first. There are only about 7 items on the menu…what’s the hold up?Our waitress largely ignored us. When she got the bill for us, she took it back and returned with a new one without explanation? The cost was the same but it was very bizarre how she handled it.The food itself was ok, but it’s basically 50% potatoes. My mug also came with a bit of a chip on it. I pass through Pearson frequently but I’ll be sure to pass on this place from now on.

Great service (thanks Jane), food is quick and delicious. We tried the chicken sandwich and burger. Fries were crispy too! Food in 15-20min. Lots of seating and a bar.

My family and I had a great meal here. Nice restaurant great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely one of the better airport restaurants.

This is a great sit down spot if you have a decent layover. Not a place for a quick bite if you’re pushed for time. The brick chicken sandwich I had was very nicely done. Flavors were on point, even if I had to add a bit of salt, me being from the southern US and my tongue having been pickled by salty food my whole life. I have appreciation for food that is easy to eat, and without getting long winded about it, the sandwich had a perfectly sized bun to hold everything with zero spillage to the last bite, so no mess on your traveling clothes. I like that. Fries were fresh and crispy the whole way through the pile. Try it, don’t be in a rush, and you will get treated very well.

Worry-Free Dining at the Airport!!I often travel for business out the gates near The Hearth. I eat have eaten here a few times and always have a worry-free experience. What I like about the Hearth is that they change up the menu every few months, so there are new items to try. On most visits, I'm seated quickly, the server comes to my table quickly and the food comes out fairly fast. I'm not always looking for Michelin Star quality when I'm travelling, just food that's good quality and of course tastes good. I have tried the burgers, the chicken sandwiches and salads, and always for the most part the food is pretty good. If you are at Terminal One and want something to eat before heading to the sometimes distant F-Gates then give the Hearth a shot. I haven't tried everything but so far I haven't eaten anything I didn't like, my advice is always with airport restaurants, stick to what you like and you should be okay. In terms of pricing, just like any other airport, the food costs are above average compared to restaurants outside an airport but on par with higher-priced hotel meals.
