Very nice store with a great selection of upscalish outdoor clothing. Wait for sales and you can get great branded items for decent price. Love to shop here, the staff is friendly and helpful. The store design is fresh and modern. I recommend this location.

I really like this store, it’s like an upscale sport check. You can find everything in there for skiing snowboarding or pretty much any outdoor activity. This place is two floors and really well decorated. I enjoyed my shopping experience here and I highly recommend it and look forward to going back there myself.

There is a lack of customer service/full of attitude. We’ve purchased an item a while back and only realised the store (not this location) didn’t remove the security tag. We brought it to the store and the staff started questioning us. I understand they can question us whether we actually bought it from this store, however we also brought in the receipt to prove we’ve bought it. After that the staff started removing the tag, while giving us a speech with an unwilling attitude. There was also zero greetings during the whole interaction. We felt like we’re being treated like thieves/scammers while it was the store that forgot to remove the tag in the first place. This experience has given such a bad taste in my mouth. If you want normal human interaction/customer service, please visit another sporting goods store.

First let me say this store has INCREDIBLE staff!! Knowledge and attentive - the layout of the store is AMAZING! The lighting, the displays and the placement of the MASSIVE inventory is just very pleasing to the eye! This location that i attended at Yorkdale has 2 floors and even thought the store is HUGE, it was not overwhelming or crowded simply because they placed the perfect amount of space between all racks and displays! My only regret is not taking the names of the staff that day because they really made the visit a 5☆ for me - thank u xo

For all those sport lovers. great place for shopping for hiking, cycling. Pace is spacious and clean

If you buy anything high-end in the store such as clothing don't expect the store to have any garment bags. You are better off just going to the brand store directly. The way I see it don't pretend to be high-end if you cannot provide all of the services and products for your clients. This is something to consider if you are a sales person in the store as you will lose $1000+ sales because upper management cannot secure garment bags from their suppliers. You have to know how to go the extra mile if you want to compete in the high-end market. On the bright side there are some good deals on other items that don't require a garment bag.

We have had both a great experience and a terrible experience at this Sporting Life location.The first price match we did, no issues. The manager and sales associate were polite and processed the transaction.We went back to price match the same item for my brother, and they said that it is the final sale. We asked why it wasn't the case for the first price match, and it didn't state this on their corporate websites policy. The manager insisted that the website is not correct and that she knows better. We showed her our receipt from the first transaction, and she said well that manager not aware of the policy. We asked to speak to that first manager, and she said well I'll just do it this time, but this is the policy regardless of what happened before or the website.Sports Check offers the same price match policy and I think we will be going there next time.

Very bad customer service. Poor attitude from cashier and sales associate in the sunglasses/mens section. Browsing thru sunglasses and a sales associate stared at me for atleast a minute and realized to ask can i help you with anything" with an attitude. She was not even busy or anything. Very awkward interaction. Also bought a pair of patagonia shorts online thru their website

Got what we needed but a comment on the customer service of one of your attendants. Perhaps they've made a note of it based on other reviews but a store attendant was on us as soon as we came in. Felt like she was assigned an area and was patrolling it since she did not follow us when we went deeper into the store. Overall, a very awkward interaction and made us grossly uncomfortable when we first came in to shop. Don't know if the store attendants work on commission but that's how it felt like from her. Very pushy which was an isolated incident because other store attendants were much friendlier and checked in on us without being bothersome. Unfortunately did not get a name since we tried to avoid her and pay and leave ASAP.
