I've heard so many nice things about this place before I've applied. I thought that it was going to save me money and time. I was so wrong. I've been to two programs here. It was alright in the beginning. When I hit second semester, they knew I couldn't drive and I lived far enough that I couldn't take a bus to the placement. So they decided to place me an hour away from the school. I hated it and it was such a waste of time traveling everyday. It obviously didnt help me study and work. Then I failed a course, so I took a different course because apparently, there wasn't a space for me. I went on and it hit me that they really don't want me to pass because they failed me on the last day. It was a mixture of problems, from a placement worker hating me for no reason to me asking the dean for a different person that wants to teach instead of ignoring me. I took full responsibility for the first failure. I asked for help many times, but all they could tell me was nothing can be done. But that second failed grade felt so wrong. When everything was going well even without their help. So, I decided to leave this place forever. Because I was only seen as a cash flow for them. It taught me a valuable lesson. Read what others say before you apply to anywhere.

Terrible Program schedule. Not enough time/resources. No flexibility, that’s how the paramedic program felt . After completing 3 semesters and redoing 3 rd semester for failing one course by 0.1% I had to be placed in Hamilton which was nowhere near any of my recommendations. Then during my placement I was basically bullied and yelled at for trying to learn. Was told “I’m not even half a paramedic “ by my own teachers. If your wanting to help people I suggest you choose another program , especially not at this school. Around 30% of people from first year end up graduating from paramedic program from when I started, which if you ask me is not a very high passing rate.

They don't know what they're doing. Took their Computer Systems Technician course 2021-2022 and it was absolutely awful. They couldn't find a professor for a course because of their whole get vaccinated or else" rule (which btw they let some students continue their education without a vaccine but told me I had to get vaccinated or I couldn't join). There was only 3 maybe 4 professors that actually cared. The rest you could tell were only there for their $80/hr - 10 hrs a week paycheque (true story we found their indeed posting for our one class). Would cancel classes sometimes up to an hour or less before the class started

What a beautiful day to spend the day outside with the kids and family. Belleville sponsored a family day at Loyalist Collage. I feel that it was a great place to host the activities for the kids and adults. Now we arrived a little after the noon hour, to our surprise we had no problems finding a place to park which was great. There was lots of people wondering around and as to be expected line ups were long. There were entertaining shows and princesses for kids with of with out their parents to take pictures with. Plenty of room to move around and with all the people you didn't feel crowded in. Now for the negative comments, there was only 2 food trucks out side and the line up as to be expected were very long. I did find some Indian food at the shark pub that was very good, well done guys.Definitely need to have more food outlets ( trucks) and there was a hose wagon ride that the kids really wanted to go on so we waited in line for more than an hour and the ride turned out to last only 2-3 minutes all it did was pickup you up at the front entry and dropped you off at the back to were the demonstration were going on , the wagon come to a stop and we were told to get off and if we wanted to get back on, to ride back to the start you had to line up in a line again?? Not impressed! Mabe have two wagon to ride just saying. Not sure of the logistics but from a customer's point of view it seemed ridiculous. I think if the city of Belleville is to sponsor a family day there should have been more consideration and thought put into something as big as this. I hear rumors the they had only planned on around 2000 peaple to turn out but that is such a low number considering were still coming out of the pandemic and given the chance people are anxious about getting out especially if there is entertainment for the kids. It was big bonuses that it was a beautiful day. Look forward to seeing this event next year?? And the improvements!
