I just purchased an high end leather couch at Carson House that cost me less that 25% of the original retail cost at a local dealer. It is my fourth such acquisition and Carson House remains the absolutely best place to pick up quality furniture at amazing low prices. As an added bonus the staff are amazing and the store is full of one of a kind accessories and colourful knick knacks that can really brighten a room.So if you are in the market for a major furniture purchase keep an eye on the their website and save $1000s.

Be forewarned that after 5 months “converts to storage” means you will get nothing for your consignment items, even if it is only a month after..and they keep all the money they get when your stuff is sold.2. … we told Michelle that our son would be picking up the set of parsons chairs. And yet you sold them before we could get them.You knew and still you SOLD them, and kept all the money too.

They posted a fire place for sale, and I responded and followed with a phone call. I asked a few questions, and asked when they opened the next day, as they were about to close. She said 10, I said I have one appointment I cannot change and asked if 11am would be OK. She said yes and I gave her my full name..... so that she would not sell it to another before then. Almost 2 hrs later I got a note from her stating she has another coming at 12, and that customer came before me. I changed appointments and had spent 1.5 hrs setting up my room for it. This is not profesional. If there had actually been another before me she should not have said I could come at 11 for it. Not a good way to run a business, and not one I would sign any sort of consignment agreement with that for sure. All should make good on their word... but in business it is even more critical, as it's a sign of their approach to general ethic with customers.

What a great place to go to! One of a kind artisan pieces, quality furniture, modern, antique or whimsical. There is something for everyone in this unique store. I have taken a few pieces there for consignment and could not be more pleased. The friendly, courteous staff treat all items with care and do a great job advertising and showcasing everything in its best light. The store is constantly evolving as items are not there long. Definitely a place to visit on a regular basis whether you are buying or selling.
