GreenTee Country Club Langley (Pagoda Ridge)

I don't golf much, but when I do, I appreciate a well-maintained layout that is fair, has some challenging holes while at the same time, is a bit forgiving. This course checks all the boxes. They had a quality left-handed set to rent as well. While it didn't have 3-5 irons (my only pet peeve), it wouldn't have made much difference in the final outcome as I don't get out that much during the season.

Pagoda Ridge, or “GreenTee Country Club” as the new owners like to call it, in general is a good golf course in Langley, BC. It’s in good shape overall, and the patio and pro shop staff are very good. But – it’s not all “Beyond Luxury”. There is no clubhouse. No Range. Practice cages with holes in the netting. The tent that covers the patio is gone in the winter. The kitchen/bar is not always open, especially in the off season. The fairways are meticulously cut – yet wild black berries are allowed to grow from the rough well onto the fairways in places. The hazards are not red staked properly, and much of the non-groomed rough is in terrible shape. The pin placements on the greens are frequently illegal and totally ridiculous. Green fees are in general overpriced. The rumour is that the current annual membership players might not be able to renew in 2023. Green fee play has declined dramatically in the last two years. If annual membership players are not able to renew in 2023 the course will become very empty and almost unused on many days. Of course, we all hear the course wants to go private in the future – but why turn the place into a virtual ghost town before that happens? Without a clubhouse and other improvements, going private might be a fantasy in any case.

Amazingly well kept course...lightning fast undulating greens...and a beautiful walk...happy surprise for this time of year, can't wait to get back there

Parking lot...The wheels...I'm worried about.I don't understand the priceI think it's an uncompetitive golf course

The greens were nice, fairways were taken good care of and the layout of the course is easy to play. However, there were mounds of dirt and sand on certain parts of the course, along with construction supplies and tons garbage all along the wall. The main part was covered in a white tarp. I understand that there is a lot of construction going on, but it would have been nice to seen a little more care around the wall. Especially for the Sunday prices close to $90. Would like to go again as I live around the area but for these prices I dont see myself going until they are done renovating or when they go private and the membership opens up.

Had a great experience there with great memories

The course was in great condition, the greens were fast and well manicured. the tee boxes in good condition. Couple of stunning scenic views to top off a perfect golf day. Drink prices are great. Would highly recommend this course. Can not wait to get back out here.

Good golf course! Good prices for west coast. The back 9 is definetly better than the front 9 though. love the 10th hole and the wall
