Going Up Doors LTD Edmonton North

I had ordered the doors sometime back in March I believe (2022). Unfortunately due to unforeseen events of idiot politicians shutting down the Country I had to wait a few months for the doors to come in because production slowed way down. That was not the fault of Chad and his company as he is at the mercy of the supplier. Chad called me out of the blue in May and said he had some doors but they are a bit different. he gave me the choice and they were a little more expensive but all in all I was happy I got them because they have a nice high rated R16 insulation to them and my garage is heated. The thing is they do great work and make sure its precise the way you want it but as of late you might need to wait for doors to come in. That should not deter you from using them because they are very good at what they do. Also they saved me $1500 compared to the other company I went to. Only problem now is I need to change the ugly trim around my new beautiful garage doors! THANK YOU CHAD! Highly recommend!

Had occasion to request a service call late in the afternoon for a broken garage door. I was so impressed to have same day service, especially since it's -22 degrees today. The service tech arrived at 8:00 pm, diagnosed the problem and installed the new part quickly and efficiently. Excellent service and I would highly recommend Going Up Doors. I've given 5 stars but would give 10 if I could for anyone working outdoors in this weather. Great job Dylan!

If I could leave a zero rating I would. Service quality was terrible. My garage door wasn’t even properly fix. I paid a lot money and got nothing in return. I had to pay another company to fix my garage door. Not impressed and will never hire him or do business with him again. Buyer beware. Stay away.

Got my garage opener replaced very next day after the old one died. Dillon was on time, finished the work quickly, walked me through some door maintenance routines, recommended some options, great job overall. Needless to say, polite and professional people. Highly recommend.

Had a garage door issue, they gave me a call and directed me on how to fix it over the phone. I was able to fix my door opener issue free of charge and saved money on replacing it.

Chad is amazing. I live in Calgary and have my renter in Edmonton. I found Chad on one of our community pages. He answered right away and was there in minutes. My renter was standing outside in the cold watching the garage as the door would not close. My renter has nothing but good things to say about him. Fastest and reasonably priced. I would recommend him any day. My renter also told me he called a couple places before I found Chad. He was getting the run around on the phone by other places. Thanks Chad for saving the day!

I used Going Up to replace my garage opener motor and garage door rubber seal.I can’t say enough great things about Chad and Dylan. First, Chad was super responsive, answered all of my questions, and gave me a good price on the work.Dylan (the installer) was very detail oriented, cares about the work, and even drive across the city to accommodate an after hours appointment.You can’t go wrong with this company. I’ll be using them instead of any of the other franchise companies. They deserve the work and the work is done well.

Had an issue with my door not cycling down, found a broken wire on one of the sensors, fixed it but door still wouldn't go down. Called Chad and he walked me through all kinds of potential scenarios over the phone(my motor cover was off). Cant say enough good things about Chad. It was a simple adjustment and door works flawlessly again. I thought my circuit board was fried and was going to have to spend hundreds of dollars getting it replaced. Honesty is hard to come by these days, I'm sure there are others that would have serviced my issue and charged me all kinds of cash when it was a simple fix. Don't go anywhere else folks, call Chad.... it will be worth it. Thank you again Chad.....you made my day.

We had our garage door and openers serviced and have been very happy with the after service as well. No issues, likely have Chad back by fall to make sure we are good for next winter.

We had a power outage in our area and I had to manually open the garage door. However when the power came back the latch did not latch in the train and I could not figure out how to fix it. I called this company and Chad answered the phone. He asked me to send photos of the issue and also suggested few things I could do instead of a service call for a simple thing. I followed his instructions and I fixed the problem within 20 seconds. Rarely we find companies who try to save us money and this is the company that is amazingly honest. Not only that, he called me back to ensure everything was working fine. Thank you Chad for your honesty and I will definitely use your services in future and also spread word within our friend circle....its always word of mouth that prevails. Thank you again
