Southgate Dental Centre

I’ve been looking for a new dental clinic and I’ve finally found the one! I was fortunate enough to be Sim’s patient. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing her again for my next cleaning!

Sim was great. I am pleasantly surprised with the level of care I received, information and tips, and the most thorough cleaning I’ve had so far. Receptionists were great too. Overall good experience from start to finish.

We absolutely love Southgate Dental Centre. Our entire family have seen Dr Lau and her referral specialists for a number of dental needs, and we could not be happier. Always kind, professional, trustworthy and reliable. I also feel completely comfortable as th standard for hygiene is top notch. You get a sense of this the moment you walk in the door. Highly recommended in every way!

I've been going to this dental clinic since 2018. The hygienists. dentists, receptionists and all the staff are great.Sim is usually the one who does my dental cleanup and always gives good advise. Sim is polite and respectful.The staff are nice to me

Who loves their dentist? I do. My pre-covid dentist I had been going to for years closed and didn't re-open. I was forced to find a new dentist. I went with the option closest to my house, Southgate Dental Centre and I am so happy I did. The reception team, Maria, Jane, and Breanna are top notch and always bring a smile to my face; and my hygienist, (not like she is all mine, I am sure you can book with her too) Sim! is the best. She takes great care of my teeth and equally good care of my spirits.

(Just a little disclaimer before I write this review, I don’t condone or recommend scraping your own teeth also this review is not about the hygienists or dentists.) So I called in yesterday to see if I could come in quickly to get a little bit of build up under my permanent retainer scaled as it was really bothering me. The lady I talked to on the phone was very adamant that she had to schedule me for adleast 3 units of scaling witch is almost $200! All I needed was a quick 15min (1 units of scaling) no cleaning, nothing! I ended up going to London drugs picked up a little dental tool kit for $5 and doing it my self! Took me 10 mins with no knowledge of how to do it and cheep dental tools. Im not that wealthy and my benefits aren’t the greatest and dental is expensive to begin with, I’m very upset as I feel a bit taken advantage of.

The best place to get your teeth cleaned!!! Registered hygienist Sim Sidhu is the best thing that ever happened to dentistry! If you need a cleaning but you have sensitive teeth, anxiety about the dentist, and a low pain tolerance, you need to see Sim!! She is gentle but thorough, super encouraging and gives great tips! Thank you for making my teeth cleaning experience so pleasant!! <3

I had a great experience toady the receptionists Anu was very friendly and helpful. The lady cleaning my teeth was Sim, and she did an awesome job and was very pleasant. It was one of the best dentists I've been to and will definitely be back!!
