This place is one of the best mosques I have been to. Not because of the fancy building nor the huge facilities. But because of the love they have for our community and the way they treat our kids. Bring up our kids in a country where we are a visible minority and also have no relatives is no small task. But with them my kids feel that they have an extended family of caring unlces and aunts.I would like to thank them for creating that bond between my kids and Allah, through their understanding and acceptance to kids demonstrating kids behavior. Also by creating a number of activities that help us and our kids understand Islam while having fun.May Allah always grant the ones responsible for this place the best so that they continue serving our Muslim community in the best way they can.

This Masjid is not like any other that I've been to before. It's just exceptional, and the best thing about it is how it makes you feel like you belong.The community feeling in this place is just amazing. You can feel it from the moment you step inside. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The admins and volunteers there work tirelessly to ensure that visitors feel at home, and they do a great job at it. You can't help but feel embraced by the friendly atmosphere.What's even more impressive about this Masjid is that they welcome all opinions. They have different programs in place that provide a safe space for everyone to share their thoughts and engage in meaningful conversations. It's really nice to see that everyone's voice is heard and valued in this community.The admins and volunteers at this Masjid work day and night to provide the best service for the community. They put in so much effort to ensure that the Masjid is always in the best condition and that events run smoothly. Their dedication is truly inspiring, and it's clear that they are passionate about serving the community.One of the things that I loved the most about this Masjid is how they prioritize connecting kids with their faith and with the Masjid. They have different programs and initiatives that cater to children of all ages, from Quran classes to youth groups. It's so heartwarming to see the kids engage in these activities and learn about Islam in a fun and interactive way.Overall, I can confidently say that this Masjid feels like a second home. The sense of community, the welcoming atmosphere, and the dedication of the admins and volunteers all make it a truly exceptional place. Excellent masjid which is very convenient for my family since it is within 10 minutes of our home.The Imam is a highly qualified Hafidh and Qari with a beautiful recitation that really helps the listeners connect with the Quran.They also have a learned scholar who gives insightful Khutbahs on Jummah and Khatiras during Ramadan. He also holds regular Seerah and Tafsir sessions during the weekdays.The management / administrative team are all volunteers and they work hard to keep the masjid running smoothly while addressing any issues or concerns the congregants of the masjid may have.Like any other masjid, there will be kids, and some loud people and some parking issues, but that is normal when a large number of people gather in one place. The management does their best to create a welcoming environment for everyone and not be so strict that they will drive people away from the masjid; this is something we should remember and be thankful for.May Allah reward everyone who works hard at all our mosques/masajid and everyone who supports this and all other mosques.

Beautiful and convenient masjid..I would highly recommend this masjid to families with elders and young children.No stairs makes it easily accessible to elders.Welcomes kids, gives them opportunity to call out adhaan and iqaamah at Asr on Fridays.

Very good mosque MashAllah. Has separate room for sisters. Enough parking spot but may have challenges during Jummah prayer , not heard of any issue. Mosque also arranged several programs, family halaka or gathering & youth activities. This mosque has a beautiful madrassa for quranic & arabic classes for beginners and hifd programs. Brothers and sisters who are managing the madrassa activities are very good. Jazakallahu Khairan for your untiring efforts. People in this mosque is very welcoming. May Allah swt protect this mosque and the people behind it.

Great local venue not far from Glenn Abbey. Good mix of khatibs and highly organised. Only issue is some of the Friday attendees are ill mannered, impatient, and totally lack adhab. Every week there are a few frustrating attendees you have to witness and deal with. I strive to hold back and not tell them off but Imams should. Impatient leaving or speaking over the khuthba. Some shocking display of poor ettiqute and it's sad. Not the mosque's fault....some ppl are just raised wrong and ignorant of the very religion they claim to follow. The committee and organisers all seem excellent as are the khatibs, MA.

Over the years, the management has just been amazing and accommodating. This is my second home, a place of tranquility and connection to Allah. For three years, I have been attending Friday prayers, Taraweeh, and Eid prayer with my family at Dar foundation. Every time I enter the mosque, I feel a deep sense of happiness. At the entrance, a man dressed in Arabic clothing always greets us with a huge smile as he guides the attendants. His welcoming smile creates a happy and inclusive environment which encourages us to come and spend time at the mosque, and for that, I pray for him. Similarly, the imam who leads the prayers has a resounding voice that is very captivating, and the sheikhs who delivers the Friday sermon are extremely knowledgeable and speak on topics that are very relevant to us. They humbly demonstrate the Islamic way of life and convey its message with great impact. As a result, this mosque is home to Muslims from all over the world, especially Afghans who have a significant presence in this mosque. Here, we get to know our community members and pray for each other.This mosque is well-organized and very clean. Cleanliness is a standard both inside and outside, which makes it a wonderful place to pray.We pray that Allah gives strength and guidance to us, the mosque's attendants, and to the management, to help them buy a bigger facility and expand their services to the community. A larger mosque would allow the accomodation of the growing number of the members of our community.As a community, we should encourage our kids to come to the mosque, but we should also be responsible for their behavior during prayer times. Since the mosque is our place of worship, we, as attendees, should treat it as our home and should take care of it.We are proud and lucky to have a community centre like Dar foundation in the heart of Oakville, and for a management that works so tirelessly for its attendants.
