I was referred to The Last Frontier by an existing client of theirs.Both James and Kellie are kind, understanding, truly do care, and are honest and practical. If you are looking for an honest mechanical shop, you found it here! I will certainly be considering James and Kellie and The Last Frontier Automotive for any future work and I recommend that you do as well. I am not a relative or a close friend - I truly am an average disinterested person who will drive out from Calgary to Cochrane for the their good service.

Brought my Subaru Impreza for complete clutch replacement and so far everything is doing great. Great service from James and Kelly aside from the fact they offered the best rate in town. Highly recommended

Honestly never thought I would be doing a Google review but wouldn't wish this upon anyone else. Had my clutch replaced 36,xxx km ago & now needs a new one.. (It's not my driving!) also my mom had her motor replaced which was big $$$ and only lasted 50,xxxkm. Save your time & money..*** Had to replace the clutch & turn out that someone had installed the wrong clutch after all.. installed one for a 4X4 OR 4.0l& as for my moms motor.. No one has 5k to toss around like coupons!?

In my experience, Last Frontier is honest, provides quality work, and is good value. I've found that they work hard to find the most economical solution for the customer (me).

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet! James and Kelly are fair and honest. I found James about 10+ years ago shopping for a price on an alternator- he was half - yes half - the quoted price. When there was a miscommunication about what was to be serviced on a vehicle, Kelly cut me a check for the unordered spark plugs on our second truck- even though eventually we would have scheduled that anyway. I did not cash that check - it was a more than fair price for work that was needed anyway- an apology was immediate and all that was really necessary.I read the one negative comment and just have to say my immediate thought was, they are so kind and try to help where they can and sometimes that backfires I’m afraid- no good deed and all that!We have four kids and so often have four vehicles. James’s advice on the used car side has saved us thousands as young kids have weird choices and his manner is more level and less “how stupid can you be?” than mom and dad.I would recommend this garage to anyone but he gets kinda booked up so around tire change time- maybe not as much :-)

Very friendly people. They don't nickel and dime you to death. Honest and pleasant to deal with. Other garages in this city should strive to be like them. It's comforting knowing there are still people like this that deliver what they promise. Customer for life....
