Extremely happy with the professional service we received yesterday from Johnny. My wife’s Harley broke down in Canmore and they had it towed within a half hour. No damage to the bike and just a pleasant experience in a stressful situation. Thank you United Towing and thank you Johnny. Very reasonable price as well and a really nice truck.

PLEASE NEVER LET THIS COMPANY GET A HOLD OF YOUR VEHICLE. I’m not saying anyone is a bad person, but the actions of their staff and owner all reiterate this: DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO GET $$$: misrepresent, overcharge, miscalculate, give no option but to move the vehicle to their lot in order to charge, threaten their competitors, resort to verbally abusing the customer when they get called out (even online in the reviews here).Charges to operate are understandable, but if you can’t run a business while following good business practice, or even standard regulation… If you have to resort to unethical and illegible behavior to stay afloat, especially preying on people who had just been in car accidents, maybe you shouldn’t be in this business.EDIT: UNITED TOWING & RECOVERY SERVICES responded: “I'd like to look further into your review... what was the date of your tow and model of vehicle?”My experience with this company has been nothing but horrendous, I do not wish to continue. If they have to look into which tow this was, this only further affirms what was stated in mine and other’s reviews. How many negative interactions they must have with customers if they don’t even know which one? My experience was in no way an outlier, many have suffered, and many will continue. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Problem with car on a road. There is nothing good about it. Especially when you have three kids from Ukrainian refugee family ready to enjoy Radium Springs and mountains. Unless you call United Towing services and Dale Elder comes to rescue. He will call a taxi for you and wait on a highway with you and tell you funny stories till taxi arrives. Than he will taw your car and when you want to pay he will say : nothing, that all I can do for these kids.Thank you Dale and United towing.You are the best.

Got my car towed by this company and asked for a recommendation of where I should take it. They said you should take it here whenever one of our employees has had their car fixed they’ve used it multiple times, so I listen to them and got it Dropped off at a place in Canmore , when I called the business when they opened, they said that they would not work on a vehicle like mine so I called United towing to ask if they would be willing to tow it to another location and they said no problem will tow it for an additional charge after already spending $585 on the initial tow. They then wanted to charge me for another full tow again and told me that I should’ve done my research before getting it towed somewhere even after they made the recommendation to get it towed to this location. If you had any other option other than using this company you should do so

Called for an urgent tow, Brittany was very professional and prompt. great communication and overall service. This is refreshingly original specially for a towing company. A+

My car broke down on my way to Calgary from Kelowna. I was an hour outside of Canmore at 1030 pm... I've never broken down before and had no idea what to do. Dale was our driver and he was amazing! The lady I booked with over the phone quoted me a price and I knew it was going to be high since I was so far out. He showed up an hour later and towed us to any automotive shop we wanted. Then he also dropped us off at a hotel we booked. Amazing service!! I highly recommend them. Don't listen to the negative reviews.

I am pursuing legal advise against this company and am consulting with a lawyer if any one has any info please contact me . they are trying to charge me 1200 for a tow less then 80 km from canmore a 40 min job at most being very generouse on my estimated time and thats in they're favor. to go to pick up my vehicle and bring it back to canmore. Weather rcmp was involved due to faulted pretense or not. even if I don't win just want people to know they are a rip off to the costumers and don't deserve 5 stars although admin and workers seem pretty nice the company is not worth asking to tow your vehicle as they like to find redicoulouse way to charge you for more then what is necessary and only care to stuff they're pockets with your hard earned money even if your on minimum wage. As I keep reading threw they're reviews seems like more and more people seem to have the same problem. Yes it's expensive to pay for a company to operate in canmore but it doesn't mean you treat like they are just a paycheck and find redicoulouse add on charges just cause they feel like it I have all picture and evidenceproving they're over charge from what I was told the price of they're tow was originally supposed to be and then get the bill of 1200

These people are complete crooks. My friend's car was towed to their storage lot with all of our ski and snowboard equipment inside, due to a fire after we had left it in a parking lot, and we were told by three separate people at this company that we would have to pay the entire towing and storage fees to that point ($900) plus a $100 gate-opening fee, in order to get our stuff out. That is completely illegal and I had to prove it to them by sending them the legislation, threatening to get a judge's order, and getting a lawyer involved. They also tried to increase the gate-opening fee to $350 because of registration issues. Finally, after almost 2 weeks of arguing and dealing with their B.S., our stuff was returned as it originally should have been. After all of this I was told by the tow-truck driver who opened the gate for us that I should call the liars at the dispatch and apologize to them because I had been nasty. Complete waste of time and completely unprofessional.
