I'm really delayed in writing this review. Im not a review person.I got a curly cut from Ann about 4 months ago and it was fabulous!For some context, I am Black and I have 3C hair very curly and it's fine and frizzy at the same time.I have never got my hair cut in its curly state. I hate the idea of straightening hair to get a cut.Not many hairstylists are brave enough to take on curly hair types.Ann is very passionate about ALL hair types.Ann is very personable and she really cares about the clients comfort.I was nervous but she put me at ease.walked out with nicely shaped, healthy bouncy full and defined curls. I have since told my friends and family about my experience.Thank you Ann! I will be back sorry about the delay :)

I love my new hair and all credit goes to the brilliant hair stylist Sara. She was so wonderful with the hair and the way she cut it. I was sceptical at first because this was my first time getting a Deva haircut but oh boy! Am I impressed? I would highly recommend this salon and hair stylist Sara for the service. I called the salon for a hair cut, style and a perm. Ann answered the call and I made an appointment. I had further questions as to the cost. She was busy with a client but assured me that she would call back. And she did keep her word and called me back and answered my questions. An automated appointment saying that it would be with Sara was sent along with a reminder a day before the appointment was sent to my phone. When I arrived for the appointment Sara and Ann greeted me and asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I explained and Sara did not interrupt me or give her input until I asked her and she made slight suggestions. She was very kind, polite, gentle and extremely exceptional and professional. She never pushed me to do anything that I did not want. Once the hair cut was done, she asked me if I would like to colour which I had in mind but thought I would have to wait and do it on another day. She said that she could do it on the same day and said the price for everything which was really great. I knew before hand how much every thing would cost. The perm was mostly done by Sara with a little done by Ann. It was excellent, just the way I wanted. The colour that I chose was great with input from Sara who mentioned that the colour I previously chose would not stick since, I had a bit of colour from the previous time at the root and I did not want to use bleach. The end result was excellent. Both Sara and Ann did a wonderful job and were very kind and my experience at Aphrodite's Sanctuary Hair Salon was a beautiful and relaxing one. I would highly recommend this salon to any one. Thank you Sara and Ann!

I moved to Toronto a year ago and was in need of a new stylist and am so grateful I found Ann! My hair is between 2c-3a and bleach blonde so finding a stylist who can work with my hair can be difficult, but Ann is extremely experienced and helping me to achieve my hair goals. Highly recommend her to anyone no matter their hair texture!

Absolutely wonderful service by Sara, she cut and styled my hair after I booked a Deva Cut. I could not have been happier with the result. I have gone to many curly hair salons in the past but my experience here was definitely one of the best.

I have been coming to see Ann for 7 years now and I am still surprised she manages to completely rejuvenate and transform my curls. Mixed girls; you want to invest in deva cuts and specifically deva cuts with Ann. Love her work, will return soon!

A hidden GEM!Sarah is super smooth with the haircut and the customer service. She clearly understood what sorta haircut I wanted and in 5 mins she made me look 5 years younger. She and her staff are super talented. I hope my review gets them more customer. Wish you the best.Highly recommended specially for men who are looking for a quick buzz cut in no time.

Ann is wonderful and has been cutting my hair for the last few years, since I moved to the area. I can just vaguely wave my hands around to indicate what I’m looking for, and she gets it exactly right every time. I have fine blond hair, and Ann is able to get it looking all volumized and bouncy.I use Vagaro to book appointments, and it’s really easy. Highly recommend!

No. Just no. I think it was Ann that I saw. Went in to get my roots done only because the place is close to my house and came out with a serious damage to the beautiful highlights I had gotten done a couple of months earlier somewhere else. Somehow the darker dye from the roots transferred to the light highlights as she was rinsing out the dye and it darkened the highlights. An no, before anyone says anything, the colour transfer isn’t supposed to happen and it’s never happened to me before. I also got a bit of a trim and she gave me layers that were in 20 years ago, a very dated look. The only good and fair thing is that she reimbursed me for the bad dye job…then again, not very helpful if I have to spend another $250 to correct what she did. I wouldn’t risk letting her do anything else to my hair.

Ann was very helpful and did a great job. This was my first time going to a salon specifically for curly hair. She did the cut just the way I asked and gave me tips as she went through the treatment. Great customer service, and lower priced than other options for my hair style and length.
