Camping Lac Magog

We camped there in August, we stayed in site N5 and this campground is not suitable for 35 feet Motorhome, may be it could accommodate a large Motorhome in sites B by the lake if you don't mind be close like sardines...Most sites we have seen where we stayed needs some TLC, not at all looking like the pictures on the website and suitable for small trailers.Also, one night we went out for dinner and came back at 9:40pm knowing that the gate would locked at 11:00pm only to find the gate already locked. Next day, I was told that it was low season and that is why the gate was locked at 9:00pm instead of 11:00pm but no postage anywhere to notify us of the changes. If you are not a seasonal camper in that campground it is hard to know when it is high season and low season.We towed a vehicle behind our Motorhome and it was impossible to hook/unhook up our tow vehicle in our campsite at time of arrival or departure; we had to find a location with a large parking outside the campground, few kilometres away.We travelled across Canada with our Motorhome towing and this campground is in our list of campgrounds never to return. I would not recommend this place to any relatives or friends.

Beautiful campground all the workers are friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and we'll kept. The beach is well kept and you are right on the lake at some of the sites.

Good campsite. Not overly crowded and such a helpful staff. Would definitely go back again.

Great camping place to come with family or friends. Great lake for kayaking and motorized boats are available for rent.

Great site on the lake, cycling friendly, close to Magog and Sherbrooke. Perfect sunsets!

Very nice location and lot of things to do at and on the lake. They just started renovation of pool and other infrastructure which is definitely needed.

Nice camping, friendly staff, very clean. Well located on the lake. Not far from awesome pistes cyclables pour n the woods.

Have been there two times this year with my small family and enjoyed it very much, very worm client services, very clean camp site, my kids liked the pool and bicycling around. Will come back again next year

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this camping. It's way too crowded, all three days we had a feeling like we are at the parking lot full of cars and not in a forest. Also we had to pay extra 25$ to have a correct access to electric plug nevertheless we had already paid for a site with electricity access included!One star only for sunset.Would not recommend to anyone.
