Mélanie was absolutely incredible! I needed help to prepare for the federal SLE tests, and I could not have had a better tutor than Mélanie. For reference, I double majored in French in university, but I graduated in 2016, and since then I had not spoken or read a word in French. I was at a B level at best before I met Mélanie. I had almost a month of consistent French classes with Mélanie, and she prepared me better than I could have hoped for. I had never done an SLE test before, so she walked me through every single step and helped me prepare for the types of questions I might be asked - and she was spot on! The questions they ended up asking me were almost exactly what she told me they'd ask. Not only did I pass on my first attempt (which I heard is not always the case), she helped me get the C's that I needed to get my job. Beyond being awesome at teaching French, Mélanie is also super sweet. She made me feel very comfortable, which is extremely important for someone like me who gets embarrassed to speak my imperfect French in front of strangers. She's also very knowledgeable and is really good at explaining things - instead of saying that's just the way it is"

You can really tell how a service is when you need it fast, efficient and professional.All left for me to apply for my Real Estate license was to pass the OQLF exam. Easier said as done. Turns out, not necessarily. I contacted Global Lingua and explained that I have roughly two weeks to get ready for my set exam date. I was put in touch with Melanie Chaput who scheduled 15 consecutive sessions (incl. weekends) to accommodate me. This was arranged within just two days.Melanie explained me her approach and tactics and only after a few classes I could see improvement. Melanie was fantastic. I came in with a good knowledge of French, but needed to make sure I was ready to take the SLE exam. She helped identify my weaknesses and gave me lots of practice and help in those areas. She was very attentive and helpful, encouraging me the whole time. A lot of the knowledge was there, but she helped me find the confidence to pass the exams! I really appreciate her efforts, in making sure that there was ample time to prepare and even made sacrifices to help me on her vacation when the exam was scheduled. I am very grateful for her help, she is a great tutor! Highly recommended.

I took the English course with Mélanie to prepare for the federal government assessment (SLE). In a few classes I saw a very good improvement! Best Language school ever! My best teacher Mélanie prepared me for a written English test for Canadian federal services. The test was quite difficult. 2 levels of 20 questions (written expression and written understanding). We only had one week to prepare. Knowing my level of English, I hoped to get at least B. But when I received the test results, I was pleasantly surprised by the result. It was C. Melanie made every real and unreal effort to prepare me. Thank you very much, my dear teacher.

So grateful to work with teacher, Mélanie Chaput who helped me gain sufficient French competency to pass my OQLF professional exam. Highly recommend working with her, she is excellent. She meets a student where they are at and helps them progress accordingly. Mélanie provides very prompt feedback and homework, and is able to adjust based on student needs. Importantly, she understood the OQLF exam requirements and provided appropriate clinical cases in order to practice my written, oral and comprehension.

Global Lingua was chosen by my employer to give me the opportunity to improve my English (oral and written). My teacher, William Faire, was bringing me to a higher level on these two sectors. By asking me to complete some exercises on verb tenses, he gave me the chance to better use these tenses. The fact that William shared to me some Ted Talks helped me a lot also. Over all these sessions, William and I discussed on many subjects (professional, social and personal) and it gave me the chance to share ideas in a non-prepared scenario like it may goes in real life.
