Joe The Mover

I was extremely stressed out about moving. I hired Joe The Mover and they did amazing job. Movers where friendly and took good care of my belongings, and pricing was great, that was a bonus!

Receptionist is great and is helpful. But movers were really slow. Complained about the size of furniture, requested for tips at the 2nd hour of the move before any real work was done. I guess I was given a really bad crew for the move.

Contacted this company and I will say we're really disappointed with the service provided the driver called me 24h before the scheduled moving date questioning how much furniture we had and already mentioning about the tip, the actual day of service they showed up with alcohol smell, it was a rainy day so all the furniture was outside in the rain, also I had to ask multiple times to use blankets for the furniture, we had multiple furniture damaged they also demanded the 65 Inc tv called the office to report the incident the guy over the phone wasent helpful at all and at the end they didn't cover any damages so be aware from this company the price is slightly lower then bigger company's but at the end saving will cost you more down the road.

I had experienced 3 bad movers before I found Joe the Mover, and I believe it is important to share that there are good, honest, ethical movers in Toronto. JTM has fair prices (even after factoring in a tip), is upfront about estimating your costs, and there are no shocks or surprises. The employees are careful without wasting time. They are pleasant and efficient. ALSO, this company provides a limited number of storage lockers at affordable rates.

Starting from reception, who was a professional / knowledgeable / friendly lady over the phone to the movers I was very happy with my experience with Joe The Mover.Prices are competitive and the movers are efficient, they showed up on time and none of my effects were broken. It is $90/hr plus fuel so keep that in mind when you estimate distance between residences.Overall I had a great experience and I definitely recommend them! Please don’t be scared away by any negative reviews, just be honest from the start on the actual amount/type of items being moved, have your things ready and you’ll be happy!I’d like to see those people rent their own truck, move on their own and do that in a 3/4 hour window door to door without throwing in the towel.

Booked Joe the Mover in Dec 2020 to move a 1-bdrm apt.2. Movers were on time (actually arrived early).3. They booked me for a comically large truck (16'?) for this move and 3 movers. In my opinion, 3 movers probably was unnecessary - but I'm not an expert.4. Movers slow walked the move. Had to extend service elevator reservation. Otherwise the move was fine.5. Mysteriously a large, moderately expensive 88-key keyboard was not delivered. One of the movers had commented on the keyboard earlier.6. I called and noted the missing item. The owner was rude. He insisted I was wrong, and that I search my place again. I said I would - but also insisted he speak to the movers.7. I followed up by email. I received a reply saying the keyboard had been found. It was delivered by the mover who had commented on it.8. I'm generally a trusting person, and give the mover the benefit of the doubt. However, I am writing this review to share what I experienced.

Another seamless (well, they made it look easy but it was NOT an easy one!) move by this team. They troubleshoot and are fast and careful AND very personable and professional. Highly recommend!

Great moving company. The office was quick to reply to my inquires. The movers were friendly and professional. They took the time to make sure all the furniture was properly protected. The rate is amazing. I paid $145 fixed price to book which covers gas and transportation. Then the rate was $90/hour for three movers.I would highly recommend them.

DO NOT use Joe the Mover--I wish I could give 0 stars!I used them this past summer. They broke a ton of our stuff in boxes very clearly labelled FRAGILE" and they were drunk. I hope the driver wasn't

Had a great experience with this company. Despite my late booking, they accomodated me.They showed up on time and worked very quick. All furniture and walls were in good shape when they were done which is a relief of course.Prices were reasonable and all fees were explained up-front.Highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.
