We recently wrapped up an extensive multi-level renovation with David and are thrilled with the end result! Living through a renovation over multiple months can be challenging, but the experience was relatively stress-free working with David. He is a consummate professional, who is reliable, meticulous, honest, and open and transparent with communication. The last part is key with any renovation, but for us it was particularly important due to the length and scope of the project.David was always there to reassure us and provide a clear path forward throughout the process, particularly when we ran into unexpected surprises once we started opening walls, and removing flooring. What also made the difference is that David has a wonderful eye for interior design, and it provided us with a valuable, and unbiased opinion when we were making decisions throughout the process.We would happily refer David to anyone who is considering any type of home renovation project. It is rare to find someone like David who you can trust with your small or big budget project who delivers what they promised. He was a genuine pleasure to work with, and we already have our next project scheduled.

David and his team fully executed the renovation of our ensuite master bathroom. This involved a demolition of the existing space, planning and installation of new floors, tub, tiled glass shower and double vanity. He has an excellent eye for detail, great quality of work and fully reasonable budget. We will definitely use his services again.

I had a complete kitchen remodel with David and am so thrilled with my new kitchen! It's exceeded my expectations. David is professional, reliable, trustworthy and very meticulous in his work. Gilbert came highly recommended to my from a family member who's basement renovation looks amazing, and he did not disappoint. Previous owners did a hack job reno which was leading to some concerns of safety. After doing a walk through, Gilbert told us there was nothing to worry about and that any issues were simply cosmetic. incredibly honest as it would have been very easy and believable to suggest a significant reno was required.

Gilbert Custom Contracting provides the communication, transparency and result you should expect from every contractor. David goes above and beyond and this coupled with his great attention to detail and quality of work, helped me not even hesitate hiring him for a second project! Both my new kitchen backsplash and luxury vinyl plank flooring turned out wonderfully and David made both projects a breeze! Would highly recommend him if you are looking for a great experience and great result for your next reno or contracting project!
