I've been here three times. Once for brunch, and twice for dinner. Dinner has been 50/50, but the brunch was great value, and a great meal.Would definitely go back for brunch (Full English Breakfast Burger on Yorkshire pudding buns, times a million.)

Nice cozy little spot. Great unique food. Staff was wonderful. My girlfriend and I go there about once a month and we are never disappointed. Best thing at The Borough is the beer and liquor selection. Very unique, random beers I had never even tried and great liquor and wine selection.

I know people are raving about this restaurant but I thought it was average. Not bad, but average. The burger was decent. There was bacon on it and it was a bit tough. Good fries though.

Went for summerlicious. Great wings, cod and crab cakes. Small place with good service. Found it odd the red wine had a chill to it. Overall very good restaurant.

Love the food and service! It's all locally sourced food and drink and the meals are very creative and unique - not to mention very tasty. I've been 3 times now - keep going back. I would recommend it. Very local feel to it.

My wife and I ate here tonight. Was pretty pricey and the food seemed iffy at best. The servers were nice enough, although I was a little ticked off that they were selling me on the beef pot pie and then when I tried to order it, they told me it was sold out.We started off with the leek hush puppies. The hush puppies were soggy and wet in the middle. We should have sent them back in hindsight. Also had the bread and cheese platter which basically consisted of ripped up pieces of bread that you use to dip into a dip of beer and cheese. The dip was quite disgusting as the only thing you could taste was the beer. For the main course, my wife had the pumpkin gnocchi which was probably the highlight of the dinner. I had the Yorkshire burger with mashed potatoes and au jus. The Yorkshire pudding buns were light and delicious. The burger on the other hand was overcooked and very chewy. I was also charged extra for the mashed potatoes ($1.50) and the au jus ($2.00). Really? $2 for some gravy where most restaurants would include for free when someone is having mashed potatoes? I hate restaurants that nickel and dime customers this way.We were excited when we first got there and talked about how we couldn't wait to come back to try the other dishes. After this experience though, we won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it to others either.

Delicious restaurant on Danforth. We stopped in for dinner and it only had a couple patrons there. All of there food selections seemed to be of very high quality, and mostly all very locally made or sourced. Very fresh, and very inventive. The bangers and mash were delicious and full of flavors, along with the salad on special.

Edit: we have visited a few times in the last 3 months and the quality is right back to where it was. Food is great, staff, cocktails, and menu are all top quality.Used to be our favourite Danforth spot. Last two visits have been a total bust. Service was very poor, and our server was rude. The food went from amazing to very bad. For example, we had a yorkshire pudding dish (something they specialize in) and they were so greasy that oil could be poured off of them. The chicken in the curry was so far overcooked it was almost inedible. My feeling is that the kitchen staff had a big change since they opened.

Friendly staff. Decent place for brunch. Wasn't too crowded. Made reservations since we had a large party, but don't think there would have been a long wait. Friends were saying the hollandaise sauce was very buttery.
