This is a cute spot and it feels really homey inside the store and outside on the back patio. However, be expected to break the bank.The smoothie was delicious and a bit bigger than I would have expected, it also comes in a mason jar you can take away. I can justify the smoothie costing what it does given the size but I am shocked by the prices of everything given the quality and service.For 3 smoothies, 2 sandwiches and 2 croissants we spent almost $100. While the smoothies taste good and are a bit bigger than smoothies that normally cost at same price of $13, I still think this overpriced for what you get. The pastries are almost $6 each which I think is a lot and the simple blt is $14 which is way too much for what you get. We waited over 30 minutes for the food and smoothies.I’d really only recommend the smoothie since you can also bring the glass they serve it in back for a discount the next time. Everything else is not worth the wait or the money.The wait times have always been so long, even when the place is empty. With prices so high you would think that the service would be a bit better to match that.

Cool store that brings a fresh feeling to Bala. Great iced latte, a bit heavy on the ice. Baked goods are pretty decent. Nice selection of artisanal drinks and frozen foods. Interesting and unique items, priced quite high - they are catering to a certain type of clientele. As others have mentioned the dock space and view is awesome, Muskoka views are unmatched. Looking forward to my vanilla iced latte next time I’m in town.

Great little drop in spot located in Bala. We tried a few of their sandwiches and everything was tasty. We started out on their backyard dock but a rainstorm swept in, so we then moved over to their covered second floor veranda to watch the storm sweep out over lake muskoka. All in all, a really nice cottage lunch.

Did not expect to find this little gem in the quaint town of Bala! Super chic beach house vibe. The dock out back has tons of seating and is so beautiful and a nice spot to just relax. I had the lox bagel and it was really good! Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

My fiancé and I went for dinner for our last dating anniversary before we get married. With the pricing and “boujee” atmosphere, we expected some good service and decent food. Unfortunately both were subpar. No greeting or asking about the anniversary although it was indicated on the reservation with their prompt. We waited about 20 min for drinks to come and over an hour for food to come. The pizza was not great and the meatballs were okay. Cocktails were very weak for $16. My glass of wine was very warm, borderline hot. Although a hot day, it was way over room temp. I asked for them to do something and they said they couldn’t. I just asked if I could get a bowl of ice to put my glass in to cool it down. Thankfully it worked cause they had no solution or compensation for my hot glass of $18 house wine. Finally at the end, we waited 20 min to see if the bill would come and it never did, so we went inside to pay. Only saving grace for my fiancé is a busgirl ran his sunglasses out after us that he left on the table.

You can find a lot of fun places to visit in Muskoka, this place takes it next level with service and smiles and truly welcoming vibe. A 10 out of 10!

Stopped here for a quick bite during our motorcycle ride and overall enjoyed the yummy sandwich and the views of lake Muskoka in bala !
