Delicious! They're inside the Southside farmers market. The vermicelli/rice bows have so much food we couldn't finish. Chicken was so crispy and the mint was a pleasant surprise. Ice coffee had a smokey flavour, not sure how I feel about that, but I drank in less than a minute so it was definitely good. Spring rolls were being made on the spot and were PERFECT. Highly recommend.

!!!Calling all pork lovers!!! Here we go, I have found the best spot (by far) for roasted pork belly in the city. Crispy perfectly seasoned pork skin and juicy super tender meat. You are probably going to see me here every Saturday. The owner told me the pork was the bomb and she was 100% spot on. Put everything else on hold and go get some of this deliciousness. Tried their papaya salad, it was so delicious!! The owners were SO friendly. They even gave me a sample of my salad first to ask if I wanted to add anything- will definitely be going back!

If you want real home-cooked Lao food, you need to come here! It is located in the Bountiful Farmers Market. The Spicy Lao Sausages are my favorite!!

I had the vermicelli bowl at the farmer's market. The food was okay, but overall my interaction with the owner/worker was unpleasant and hence the 2 stars. She was very rude when I was ordering and forgot half my friend's order despite us waiting over 20 mins for our meals. I understand she is the only one working the stall (and we were okay to wait) but as a business owner it's important to be friendly/polite.Finally, a bit over-priced for what you get - again, vermicelli bowl was good but nothing to write home for.

Great food! The spring rolls and the green onion cake was delicious. The lemonade is also delicious. Chef is the only one working, so she's doing double duty, taking orders and cooking/preparing the food.

Disgusting food and horrible service!! There was a hair in the pasta gross !!!

Although everyone is entitled to their opinion I do not agree with Magda Austen regarding her recent comment. I have been a customer of Mala Foods for over 2 years and have found both the service and food quality exceptional and very consistent. They are respective of my being diabetic and having high blood pressure and prepare my orders accordingly, very attentive to the well being of their many happy customers. Good fresh food takes time to prepare, pre-ordering reduces the wait time if that is a concern. I am very pleased Mala Foods is still in business as the Covid-19 pandemic has caused many businesses to permanently close. Thank You and best wishes to your continued success.
