Downes Automotive is a professional shop that finishes work on time and does it right!I recently had a fuel pump installed in my 2008 Mazda B4000 and they had it in within a day. Unfortunately (the following day) an engine code populated So I called Downs and notified them about the new problem.They happily took back the vehicle, patched a tire leak, and fixed the problem free of charge. I was surprised as most traditional shops would often lie and make up a story as to why this new problem started, but not Downes.Thank you Trevor for your business Integrity and I will continue coming back.

Cost us almost 700 for a quick fix because the first time they Inspected the vehicle they did an extremely lazy job. Fixed the easiest thing they could find and sent us on our way with a vehicle that still didn't run properly. Almost caused us to get into an accident with our 3 children in the vehicle.Will definitely never return again, and I want to warn people against using there services. Vehicle still isn't completely fixed and will now cost us more to go somewhere else.

I have been taking my vehicles to Downes Automotive for a few years now. The service is always excellent. The staff are professional and everything is explained very well. I always feel they are treating my car/Van like it is their own. Their friendly and trustworthy service gives me peace of mind. I wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else.

Been with Downes since it started and for two reasons, service and trust. Whether it be fluids, chase a warning light to major repairs you always get the service you need.They do second to none work along with the proper procedures, in a timely manner, and with a great attitude.They are the only company I trust putting my life and my families life in a vehicle as essentially that’s what you do every time you get behind the wheel.Know that you are in good hands at Downes Automotive and trust you will be safe going down the road, couple that with quality and you have a winning combination that far exceeds the poor service and angry moments at the dealerships. Just avoid the hassle and go see these guys to save time and find out why I give them 5-stars, not many get a review like that.

I have nothing but high respect for this family owned and operated business. I take both my cars here to be serviced and have for a number of years. Trevor and his team are top notch and extremely fair on pricing. No work is ever done without prior consent and any work that is suggested is provided in detail with a report and pictures showing what needs to be done. I have no hesitation in recommending them to get my cars up and running. They even offer car inspections prior to buying. I have 2 teenagers who are looking to buy a new to them second hand vehicle. You can bet I will have Trevor and his team check the car over before we make any purchase as I completely trust he will be honest on what needs to be done. Keep up the good work Downes Team!

Very happy with the service here. Service was quoted accurately and completed in a timely manner. The service team was able to help me with additional maintenance but was never pushy about upsells. They also took extra care to clean my engine and battery under the hood. Would highly recommend this business
