Dorian Parker Centre
The Dorian Parker Centre doesn't look like much from the outside but we just had our wedding there and it was perfect. Simple easy to decorate interior, large bar area and kitchen. Only issue is the public trying to get in and they provided security to make sure we weren't bothered.

While the outdoor park is accessible. The bathrooms inside are not up to 2023 codes. A wheelchair cannot fit not maneuver in there. Barrie has huge steps to make in accessibility for its residents but they're too busy making downtown safe for addicts to OD..A 10 year old should not be left feeling as an outcast because they can't use a public restroom. The cities solution was to send a stranger into the bathroom to assist. This person had zero training, and zero business helping a child onto a toilet. This is disgusting and needs to be fixed.

Not much of a community centre as its never opened when I've gone. But amazing park and trails to walk your dog. And play ground is up to date and safe for the kids

What an amazing park. Barrie has some great places to take your kid to play but this one takes all the cake and eats it with your face. Centennial park is Tiger tight, but it lacks something that this park has as far as atmosphere goes. There was fun for kids of all ages and it was obvious when we walked in. I can't wait untill my son is old enough to try the little zip line. I will enjoy going here with my kids for years to come.
