Nice little getaway if you're looking for good value and somewhere still close to the city. The cabin itself was clean and spacious and was a nice touch to have an indoor sauna and jacuzzi tub. We loved being able to see so many deer wandering around the place! The only problem we had was that since we went during the winter season, everything except for 1 restaurant and gas station is open in West Hawk Lake. For anything else, you would have to drive to Falcon Lake or Kenora. Otherwise, it's a really nice place!

what an amazing place for a getaway! couples only which makes it super quiet and peaceful, the deer are very comfortable with humans so expect a visit from them. front desk worker was very helpful and friendly. we came in the spring, cant wait till our summer booking!

As other reviewers mentioned, the mosquito problem in the cabin is real and has nothing to do with leaving the door open or being city folk" and not understanding how many mosquitoes can be seen in the Whiteshell.We left at 7:30am after getting not even 2h of sleep during our second night. Couldn't even have breakfast as we were eaten alive.If you read through enough reviews you should also be able to recognize a pattern

We absolutely love it here. We have come back every year for the past 7 years. We love the cabins with their saunas and jacuzzi tubs. We love the privacy, the deer. It's amazing. We will continue to come back every year for as long as we can.Highly recommend. We tell everyone about this little piece of heaven in MB.

Walk into relaxation.....minutes walk to beach. Close to multiple beachside restaurants. Hot tub in middle of the room. Ac keeps up even with humidity of the tub. In cabin sauna. 2 tvs. Canoe and bikes available.Simple make an amazing lake even more enjoyable. Greatest stay I have had somewhere in ages!!!!!

Comfortable accommodations. Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful.Lots of deer which was awesome! Friendly staff. We visited early April and will definitely come back to see the area in summer.

The place was nice, but not luxury by any means. Small touches would've made a big impact like coffee/tea for the machine, soap in the shower, and option of a mosquito net. Unfortunately, there were mosquitoes breeding somewhere in our cabin that we couldn't locate. It wasn't a few that came in from outside. There were swarms. It made us pretty miserable, and we checked out early because of it. Our neighbors didn't have that problem. Aside from that, the area is very nice and the property is well kept. I would have loved a fire pit, too.

Not relaxing! There was a mosquito hatchery in our bathroom! Never got any sleep because of it! Ended up leaving early am . Waste of our weekend and money! It definitely was not due to opening the door!

We stayed at Tall Pines in fall of 2021 and had a good experience. The cabins are decent and location was near lots of great hiking, which is what we were looking for. Honestly for the price you pay everything was a tad on the cheap" side. It was clear that utensils

Perfect place for a much needed vacation! Peace and quiet, fresh air, on-site pool and a jacuzzi in each cabin! You can sit out on your deck or go walking on one of their hiking trails, or just walk to the beach!We have been coming here almost every year for the past 12years and have never been disappointed! If you want fresh air and Peace and quiet, this is the place to book!
