Credit Union Co-op Aquatics Centre (Municipal Pool)

This was a pretty good pool. They had a diving pool, a heated pool for small children, a hot tub, and a waterslide. I tried and enjoyed all. I thought it was a very good environmental idea to only turn the waterslide on when guests wanted to use it, though I ended up banging my elbow quite hard going down and wonder if that had anything to do with it. I think the waterslide would be better if it didn't have the wall of shooting water at the entrance. Unfortunately there was a very unpleasant odour in the change room which dampened my experience here. If they get rid of the odour I'd return.

They don’t take cash when I went to go and we couldn’t go swimming because of it

Currently in the process of learning to swim here, overall they have one waterslide a little disappointing but not that bad, a 24 person hot tub and I believe a 6 lane pool, deepest end is 13 feet, I'd give it an 8 out of 10 better then other pools I've been to but not the best in the world either

Perfect place to shower and straighten up if you are camping in the area. Only $2.00 per person!

Best pool in 20 miles oh rocky mountain house

Great fun for kids! Chlorine is a little over the top, perhaps because there are so many kids?? My eyes are paying for it now!!

I first want to point out, many of the locals we spoke too said, go to sylvan or red deer pool. More so if you have younger children under the age of 6. We just moved into the area and figured, we will still try Rocky’s pool. We now understand why go somewhere else.Kids can’t use the slide unless they are 6 or older. We wouldn’t even be able to sit afterwards in the hot tub with the kids to warm up. Any pool we’ve ever been to my sons been able to go on all their slides so long as he’s met the height requirement. Plus, both kids have been able to sit in the hot tub. Just be smart about it!!!! Their public swim times are very limited as well. Really nothing available for day swimming in the leisure pool with the little ones. It would be great if they had longer leisure pool swim times and more of them through the day. Public swims are mostly evenings and that’s to late with little ones. Looks like they need to start upgrading the pool to meet both public and school demands. Rocky seems to cater to so many schools for swimming lessons that others don’t get the access. Guess we will have to look else where. Kind of a shame seeing as how Rocky is our local pool.
