The best ever. On Saturday I found my cat suffering from insulin shock, I was frantic and call all vets that were open to get him in to be seen. Most were only open for food and had no vet on staff that day . Midland Vet did have a vet working but refused to see him stating the appointments were booked and I had to drive to Barrie, I told them he would not survive and they showed no concern for that. I thought I would phone Heritage and they told me to get there asap. The vet Dr sullivan and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They got my cat awake and alert within no time then they had an employee sit with him and test his blood sugar level every 15 mins, they finally got it high enough to risk taking him to Barrie Emergency clinic as he require 24 hour care. I can not thank them enough for the care and support they gave me and my cat. He is still in Barrie and although alert and eating and getting around they still have not quite stabilised his blood sugar level, fingers crossed we will be able to get him today.Again, I want to thank the staff for taking care of my Pipa and keeping me calm. They deserve an award.

Very impressed with the staff and doctors. I used to run a large breeding kennel and have been around good and bad vets. These are good people to trust your animals health with.The are now owned by a US based corporation and seem to push more costs on you. I've stopped taking my dogs there, going to penetang vet hospital now and have never been happier.

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl, Cali, today, and Dr. David Campbell was there by my side through the whole thing. He and the staff at Heritage Animal Hospital were hospitable, welcoming, and understanding of my families financial situation, and Dr. Campbell truly made me feel like I was making the best decision, even though in my heart it was truly hard to grasp. I'll miss my baby dearly, but I'm forever grateful to Dr. Campbell and Heritage for their kindness and support.

Excellent service. We have taken our 2 older dogs there. The staff are friendly, kind, patient. What I thought was awesome was the vet sat on the floor with my older poodle to keep her calm and stayed at her level. Would highly recommend this vet clinic.

This is the best vet that we've ever visited. Started here many years ago out of necessity when we were at the cottage and our dog was incredibly anemic out of the blue. A visiting friend who was a vet tech and told us we needed emergency care immediately. Heritage was the closest option, so we went.The situation was grim when we arrived, but the caring, calming and empathetic nature of every staff member we encountered gave us confidence and comfort - even though we had to leave our pup for almost a week. They diagnosed, cared for and nursed her back to health until she was stable enough to come home. They called us with frequent updates and went above and beyond for her and for us. When we picked her up, the bill was SHOCKINGLY reasonable... Truthfully inexpensive.We have not seen another vet since! For the remainder of our first dog's life we made the drive from Toronto for every appointment... And now with our second dog, we do the same - she's never seen another vet.The first thing you'll notice here is the love that the staff have for the animals they treat. They go above and beyond to make the pets as comfortable as possible, and the fees are SOOOO reasonable. Really refreshing and truly a great place to take your pet!

Heritage animal hospital has convenient hours for a working family with late hours some days and open on Saturdays. We have seen two of the vets and both were compassionate and offered plenty of information to understand what was being done and how to care for our pets. They maintain a good stock of food and seasonal pest treatments. I will gladly continue to bring our pets here for checkups and treatment. They have introduced SMS booking confirmations and email receipts that make managing appointments that much easier. They also make use of mollies.ca for online ordering and household delivery including prescriptions.

Just got off the phone with Michelle who was very impatient with me and very abrupt. I was just trying to write down information that she was telling me about Brevecto & Trio and then reviewing it with her to make sure I got all the information but she was talking so fast and I couldn’t write as fast as she was saying it and she was clearly annoyed with me for no reason. Slow down Michelle. This is not the first time that the clerical staff member as short and rude.

I have been taking our pets here for roughly 6 years now, and can't say enough about the staff and veterinarians here! They are are compassionate, friendly and are always helpful. They treat every pet that comes in as if they were their own.Highly recommend!

Our poor kitty that we took in became sick and Heritage animal hospital got us in the same day we called...can't thank them enough!!
