Theives making it hard to access the store. Back door entrance only. This used to be a wonderful store with lots of deli choices. Not so much anymore sadly

One of the only grocers open in the downtown area past 9pm. Has everything you need & always smells bomb in there. Also their staff, specifically Larissa and Rebecca are amazing! Great customer service, they go above and beyond for their customers. Thanks again ladies :)

I go to the Charlotte Pantry multiple times a week. They have a great selection of products including lots of house made baked goods and sandwiches. Very friendly staff too.

I really liked this place as it has really good hours of operation on most of the days. So you wouldn't have to worry about not finding a last minute grocery needs, since it's open till 10pm. I really love the bakery items available there, buttered croissants being my favorites. The only thing that I would like to bring to your attention is that, during payment, they charge you extra for using your credit card. Debit and cash is payments are fine. And you may not always find everything in there. But overall, it's a great, welcoming place with friendly staff.

Good selection for a small grocery store and I love that they offer delivery as an option, but it does bother me that two years into the pandemic, they don't have hand sanitizer for use when you go in. It's a really small thing but it bothers me whenever I go. I've also seen misinformation newspapers available in store, and most employees don't seem to wear masks. It's good in a pinch, but otherwise I've stopped going. Also prices are higher than other grocery stores- lower than the upcharge at Shoppers Drugmart, but higher than usual.

I used to love shopping at the pantry, but it seems like they are actively trying to repel business. The staff don't mask (despite working in an establishment with open/uncovered food), and the only way to pay appears to be cash. The debit machine never seems to work properly, and I've had to leave without my groceries TOO MANY TIMES.I won't be giving my business to this establishment any longer. Oh yeah, and what another review said - you'd do well to hire folks who know what good customer service means.

Owner not the kindest man...serves his regulars with a smile but looks down on others great location , great selection but price is equal and sometimes MORE than a corner store!! New owners equals a better establishment..i think owners wife who serves dry overrated Butter Tarts may be the cause of his bad moods..dont blame him!!

great little deli on-site. always has whatever you need in a pinch. only thing i wish is that they were open a little later, esp on the weekends. try the 'ham n cheeser' for a brekki sometime, if you haven't, they're great!

I love the food here so much! However.. I was unhappy with today's experience. My boyfriend and I came in and while browsing, somebody we knew asked us for 50 cents and instantly the girl with the glasses behind the deli counter piped up telling him not to be soliciting. I have never seen this in my life.. I have been short of a few cents myself and had to ask the person behind me before if they might have a few cents.. almost always the person was more than happy to help. I felt uncomfortable like the girl didn't want the guy to be able to buy his drink.. was it because he was homeless? It shouldn't matter if a person needs help and I am willing to help, I will help. That is the thing to do..His life is hard enough.Near the end of it, my boyfriend made a comment about helping somebody in need and the girl looked at us and asked, what?"As if it mattered whether we knew him or not..Which we did. We would have given anyone 50 cents anyways. That is not soliciting. He wasn't going around asking for money

Very clean, helpful and friendly staff especially the newer cashiers. I asked the owner to carry my favorite brand of buttertart made LOCALLY and my next time in they had them for sale. They sell a brand of potato chips made right here in CANADA! Love that they are open everyday except xmas and they employ people and not use self checkouts like the bigger stores. Keep up the great work Charlotte pantry!
