Drove through Lumby and was looking for a place to have late dinner. I didn't realized it was 5 minutes to kitchen closing time when I walked in, but the kind owner took me in.Home cooked meal and great service. I noticed they even donate their tips to local Lumby charity groups! Thank you Millie's kitchen!

Delicious beef dip. Sauce on it gives it that extra kick. Great service. Very friendly.Came back a few more times. Ordered the caramel popcorn cheesecake for dessert. Oh. My. God.Don't walk, run.

I’ve eaten everywhere in Lumby, many times over, and this is by far the best place in town! Nowhere else compares. The lady here is so kind-hearted and provides the heartwarming feel of the olden days. Millies kitchen has the feel of a loving home, thanks to that lovely lady. I’d tell you her name, but I want you to find out for yourself. Enjoy! The price, some may find, is a bit expensive, but her service makes up for it (and then some).

Excellent fish & chips, non greasy, lightly battered. Homemade fries, cooked to perfection. We decided to stay for desert, their pumpkin spiced cheese cake was light & fluffy, great smooth taste & the sticky Carmel cake with ice cream, was moist, flavourful & hot. Would recommend to anyone & everyone. Prices were reasonable.

5 stars. always 5 stars. Best restaurant in Lumby !! Fresh homemade food, not from frozen like some places. Try the fish and chips !! The fish is incredible . Light and flaky, not heavy and greasy. spotlessly clean, friendly service... just lovely !

Millies kitchen is awesome. The owner was fantastic! So nice, and kind. She made us feel warm and welcome. And the food tastes so fresh and so so good. Thanks Millie's Kitchen! We will see you again next year.

We were passing through Lumby yesterday and needed some darn lunch. It was a beautifully sunny day and I couldn't do a dark pub so I saw Millie's Kitchen on the road and we doubled back. Best decision we've ever made. The room is lovely and cheerful. I had the feature poutine with a VERY generous helping of bacon and sausage on it. So good. My buddy had the cheeseburger with a delicious housemade burger patty. They hand cut their fries in house so the fries were heaven. We were served by Audrey, the owner. As a server myself, I really appreciate and admire good service. And Audrey was the best server I've had in years. So lovely and engaging. Now I gotta come back up this way again in future years to try her desserts as well!

Stopped by on the way back to Nelson and was blown away by the food - the Millie's burger was truly the best burger I've had in my life, and that wasn't just because it was a long day on the road. The woman who served us was lovely, and the place itself was super cute and well kept. Delicious fries and gravy too, everything was so so good. Wish it was closer to home, will for sure be making stops there whenever we pass by. Very worth the trip in!!! Thank you again for giving me that second wind to keep driving :)
