MCI The Doctor's Office - McLaughlin

Low standards. Disrespect for patients time, e.g. they overbook their schedule, to earn as much as possible, at the expense of patients time. I've waited 1.5 hours passed my scheduled appointment time too often. Their phone appointments have a six-hour window! More ridiculous, the doctor calls once (unlike other clinics I've used that make three attempts). Miss the call and... good luck trying to get a hold of the one-man-team receptionist, holding down the fort, in order to schedule another phone appointment so they can bank off OHIP again for the same issue. Front desk places people on hold for 15-20 mins regularly here.This clinic is a disgrace the Canadian healthcare system, which its operators use to serve them before anyone else.

No one answers call at this location. When I went there from my time from work then the staff was not polite. They asked me questions and I answered to pick up a form for someone whom they took consents from the patient however still said they will email the info to the patient at the end of their day. She said we don't sent the info right away. I am unsure why not. The report is ready she has the patient email so why not send the email then. Its been ready from 2 weeks. I hope they send it otherwise I will be going there again from my work time tomorrow to ask for it. Can someone tell me how to file a complaint for this clinic staff directly to MCI ?

Been using MCI The Doctor Office at McLaughlin for over 3 years now, couldn’t have asked for a better family doctor in Dr Shawn Jaikaran, he is ever attentive, patient and friendly even to my young very active boys. He is always happy to help and make necessary medical recommendations and lifestyle changes to ensure my family get the best care.I particularly love Nurse Carol, she is patient and nice to my boys, she helps with my appointments, referrals and my anxiety with injections! Even though sometimes I have met a wait time but not one too long or an unnecessary delay . I would recommend this practice any day!

Super disorganized clinic. The doctors are often late coming in. I saw several patients including myself where we had 9am appointments, and the doctor is arriving in the clinic at 9:15am or later. Which then takes another 45 mins for them to get ready. This happens all the time. The reception can be helpful, but not enough staffing. Some receptionist can be rude. So, even though you have an appointment.. be prepared to be there for hours.

I have been going to this clinic for many years since it has opened the doors. Never have had any issues. Staff as well as doctors have been always helpful.

I am a new patient and so far I am very happy. A far cry from my previous physician, where i would wait an hour in the waiting room then another 1/2 hour in the exam room before the doctor showed up.Here, I went in for my appointed time and was in and out in 20 mins.

Dr Shawn Jaikaran is a great Doctor. Takes care and treat his patients with lot of kindness and empathy.Neha at front front office is an exceptional worker helps everyone with respect and empathy

Have been a patient with this clinic for a few years now. I just have so many good things to say about this clinic. Starting with Dr. Aujla and Dr. Shawn, they are the most kind and patient physicians. The staff including Nadia, Stacey, Neha, Bichal, Stacey, Florence are wonderful people and always ready to help. I always have a wonderful experience when I visit this clinic. Thank you MCI McLaughlin. Appreciate all of you.

Dr. Maggo is a great practitioner and I’m lucky to have her. However, calling through to book anything with this reception team is like pulling teeth. They’re incredibly rude, have hung up multiple times while I try to book appointments, and are incredibly unhelpful when I even try to book. Honestly if it weren’t for them, I’d probably have better accessibility to this doctor.
