Was passing through Sault St Marie on a cross Canada trip to Ottawa when my brakes completely failed. I called Al on a Saturday morning to explain my situation. He not only made the time to see my car and fix it that day but he also went the extra mile of driving me to and from my emergency stay at my hotel. I would recommend him to anyone for an honest job well done with the great extra of considering his client as well. My kids and I thank you Al.

Got towed into Al‘s Garage after my clutch wasn’t working anymore. I’m driving an European Fiat Ducato Van which is not common here at all but they looked everything up in order to help me. The whole team was incredible nice and helpful and they definitely walked the extra mile in getting me back on the road as quickly as possible. Very fair pricing as well and highly recommended!

These guy's were absolutely amazing with us! We had an accident with our truck and they helped us AND our kids out! They were great with our family, did everything in their power to get our vehicle back on the road, get us a rental, and even allowed us to hang out at their shop until we were able to get a hotel! They were incredibly friendly! We are so greatful to them!

Al was great! Unexpectedly breaking down on a cross country trip was made not as bad by having someone who truly cared. His shop completed diagnostics, ordered parts and fixed the problem as fast as possible and even over the weekend. Could not thank you enough. If you want reliable, friendly and 5 star service Al has it all.

Had a shock go from hitting a pothole while driving through and they went out of their way to get the parts and even had his wife drive across to the states to get what they couldn't get here. Great service and didn't over charge. Great service and prices. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience! We were driving across Canada when we broke down in Sault and called around to a number of mechanics and classic was the only one willing to work on our diesel sprinter. They were so kind and helpful and had us out of there by the next day. Thank you so much!P.S. We made it to Halifax without any further issues!

Extremely impressed! Amazing service! I highly recommend! My vehicle had broken down the night before so I had it towed the next morning to their lot. I then went in and explained my situation, they had my vehicle in the shop that same day. I had explained to them that I was a student and was low on money, they had a look and called me a few hours later with a price. It was a very reasonable price, one which I was happy with. They did have to order some parts that would take a few days to come in.. It took just shy of a week to get my car back but they had fixed the damage that had happened and saved me quite a bit of money in total. The guys were great and very helpful with the questions. My car is running great and I will definitely go back if I have car issues in the future!

I have recently received excellent service at this mechanic's shop. My car had a serious breakdown in lake superior provincial park right before the long week end. I called several shops in Sault Ste Marie and was turned away by everyone because I did not have an appointment. Fortunately, Al from Classic Automotive agreed to help me out on the same day. Based on our interaction, I would describe him as polite, professional, helpful, and trustworthy. Despite the fact that it took all day to have my car towed by CAA and it arrived to his garage right before they closed, he agreed to make time to inspect it and was able to promptly identify the issue. I needed to return to Toronto for work the following day and had no other choice but to leave my car there over the long week end because the parts had to be ordered, which takes several business days. Al helped me arrange the transportation, which allowed me to return home safely and attend work the next day. Repair was done over the agreed timeline and for a reasonable price. I couldn't be happier with the service. The car is fixed and runs great! I can definitely recommend this business because an extra mile that these people are willing to go for their customer really makes a difference!

If you're looking for a honest place to take your vehicle, Classic Auto will give your peace of mind that the job is done right and guarantee all their work for 2 years or 40000k. They had my Jeep for a few days and kept me informed and ask my permission before any work was done. Had my Jeep back now for a few days and it feels new again. Don't usually post stuff but thought I should because of my experience.
